After a difficult start in Group stage, Real Madrid was defeated on Santiago Bernabeu against the Sheriff Tiraspol and when that happened, internet exploded. Everyone agreed that this season we do not expect anything serious in UCL from this team. But even after a lot of critics, the team finished 1st in their group.
The journey to the final was harder than ever. Paris? Chelsea? Man City? Expectations were that they are the clubs that will stop RM without so much effort, but no. Experience prevailed. After a comeback against PSG, they said it was luck, but then came comeback against Chelsea and then again against Man City!?!
This post is dedicated to the best club in the world, the only club that will fight until the last second. Hala Madrid y nada mas!
