Forest Resurrecteds Press Release

Following significant press speculation, we can confirm that club star player and England NT player Christian Beckham has been transfer listed at his request.

Team manager, Forestman, stated, “We are bitterly disappointed that Christian has requested to leave the club to further his career and skills. However we believe that only players fully committed to wearing the Garibaldi Red should play for this historical club. Therefore we have agreed to his request and he is transfer listed with immediate effect. We wish him well wherever he goes”

The club can confirm that we have had multiple offers for Christian, however have a preference that he goes to a team that continues to nurture, play and train him to help the England NT. (and hopefully with deep pockets too)

The club can confirm that they will aim to reinvest the money made from the sale via the following routes;

1. Investment in club facilities
2. Investment in our youth squad
3. Obligatory panic purchase of a few 35+yr old journeymen
4. Big night out with strippers and champagne for forestman
5. Rainy day fund
