Subject: »9200 managers in Sokker!

What might be a very nice update in the game, AND it's normally easy to insert it in the game,... make the youth team the key of your team! Let that be the one feature you need to build up in order to "earn" a team to play within our normal competitions. Let those youthplayers become worthy players to be a future A-teamplayer for yourself or for other teams. When you have gathered enough money for a decent stadion, trainers, trainees and decent A-team players, you can achieve your place in the big world. As I said earlier, make starting teams receive better starting trainers, not the crap they receive these days... The youth competition as it is now is totally worthless!

As I've said, they're not changing anything. When was the last update, 2 years ago?
2017-10-29 21:06:57
Naah, i think it was about 2 years ago they asked for a developer, which was never followed up on, as least is soon.... i think last update was 4-5 years ago

I know they won't change anything, but it would be a great idea...

Oh, definitely...there are lots of ways you could tweak the engine that would improve the user experience but as you said that is never going to happen.
My point was that I don't think that new users are frustrated because they can't reach the top right away, I think they're frustrated because they start off against very weak opponents and then immediately have to deal with teams that are way too strong for them.
It's just basic game design, if the learning curve is too steep then too many new users will stop playing.
It's obviously just one of many problems anyway...not enough new players, low percentages of player retention, no new features for long-term players. It's a dying game.

So that's why some people are so rich. They cheat like teams like PSG in real life.

Unfortunately there will always be cheaters. The only thing we can hope for is they will get caught and banned.

They won't get caught because nobody tries to catch them and even if admins did want to do sth with it, they don't have the tools to check if these users use scripts for transfers.

Noone said anything about right away. But if you expect to attract new players to the game to stop it from dying, then you can't have a 4yr timeline for the fastest manager, meaning an average person may be 6yrs.

You are asking people to spend the equivalent of 2 degrees on it. Or a third of their childhood (the first third they wouldn't even understand this so maybe half their childhood), or the time it takes for an entirely new console or 6 versions of fifa to be released.

This is why it is not sustainable, and borkos gave ideas, which other games have, that are easy to implement, don't disadvantage the top players, but allow new teams a chance to catch up faster, and potentially put up good challenges with good tactics
