Subject: »9200 managers in Sokker!

And it's probably only 1/5 of those users who are actually actively trying to do something with their team or talking in the forums (not both).

yes and that's because of the bad management of developers like Greg!

beastly [del] to All

Just as the rule changes are having an effect on our tactics. Another important milestone has slipped from us and that Sokker is now over the 15000 manager mark.

Congrats to all that support this game and to the developers.

Well Done

First Post :)) !

12020

Finally cracked 12k again.

Although this is only 8% of total team slots created in the game.

It seems there are a number of countries that could have their bottom division either completely cut, or cut to half the number of leagues, whilst still leaving plenty of new spots for any sudden surge in sign up numbers that will unlikely ever happen.

Surely if these were cut, it would not only free up server space and cost (by not running all those simulations), but allow new teams not to start in a league completely with bots, only to promote to a league where the "users" may as well be bot anyway. 6 months of playing without league banter, for a team that doesn't know anyone else, it a long time.

It's too bad nobody's willing to add some incentives for new players.. Much rather have more competition than an advantage for 2-3 real time YEARS.. Now that's a long time for any new player to wait to be competitive... That's the real and only problem getting and KEEPING new users.

ie: give them cash bonus's after the first couple seasons.. Or have them take over better teams.. Shouldn't be hard to make any number of tweaks of this nature to entice new members if that's what everyone really wanted.. I'm a fan of competition..I know many older users aren't and would rather preserve their dynasty's at any cost.. lol

And I'll never understand why you can't run two teams.. again.. a fan of competition..

But whatever.. the game has been holding steady since the initial plunge about 5 years ago..

I obviously don't know all that is involved, but I'd love to at least help out by getting things like FAQ histories up to date, and cleaning up some of these excess divisions. Things that'd don't involve changing the basic concept of the game, but that should make the game appear a lot less outdated and from a time when it was thriving.

I definitely agree with you nomaicracer (this is coming from a player who has played since 2005 but had to start a new team after leaving for a few real world years), but baby steps
