There were many buyers in the past, zero answer from the owner.

sad. such brilliant thing for so many people is getting wasted, because owners... I don't know what owners think... sad

I think it is sad no new game has been made by SK users with some changes and an up-to-date look.

I think many users would try it as nothing is happening with this game anymore. Devs are getting Plus money and spend it on holidays I think. At least not where it should be spend, developing this game like they tell the money is used for. Lies unfortunately.

I think we need to be thankful that the game is kept open.
Plus probably covers the hosting costs.

The game viewer technology is pretty much dead and would need a rewrite. Nobody in their right mind would try it.
If the flash components were replaced with mobile friendly technologies and the match shown as live text like another well known game, it might make a small difference.

The other well known game is struggling as well. It’s charging too much for its multiple levels of premium usage.
It’s lucky to have survived when the recent buyers bailed out.

I don't understand why "Hattrick" is sooo much more popular as it still develops but isn't nearly as good as sokker...
Fact is that this game has it's history - so the developers don't want to "give up" on this game, and I'm gratefull indeed that they didn't.
It's a bit like waiting for a political organisation that actually wants to help the common people in stead of earning loads of money for big words and promises...

I have been staff for a while and know a bit what is happening. Other people, unpaid people to be clear, have to do the work, DEVs earn the money by doing nothing at all.

This is good example, if many people would agree Greg would be willing to change it as he had this idea himself. The text is made, people are asked to vote, the outcome is very clear, given back to Greg on the staff forum: NOTHING anymore from Greg or any other DEV.

Devs are all full of BS, words but no action. The most active people are unpaid managers who made stuff like SkUnk, oSokker, SV, SO, Apollo, tutorials, videos, etc.

Even all the promotion has to be done by unpaid managers, while it´s their game and they are the ones getting paid. Hundreds of ideas are posted to improve this game, almost none implemented to keep the number of managers up instead of all leaving as Greg made the wrong decisions. He doesn´t understand how to make the users happy.

On the heyday Greg earned loads of money, I´m sure he did great things with it, for himself, but the promise on the Plus page is a lie, money is spend on other things as developing this game.

I'm the 30 "just want to see" user :)...

I'm also baffled how hattrick has that much more users than sokker.. I started to play it again (passively) just to see did something change since 2009 when I played it and guess what..

trained my MID for 5 seasons and now sitting second in fifth league with strongest mid but god awful (worst in the league) attack/defense which means mid is still (almost 10 years later) predominately today..

That game is all but realistic! And it's friggin boring... 10 weeks to get 1 pop for a 20 year old??
90 minutes for each game... waiting for...text...a chance!!! ooohhh.... half an hour later... another chance... some more text...and more waiting...OOOhhh, half-time... literally a quarter of waiting for the match - read, the continuity of the waiting - resumes and yet a whole pose of more waiting...
It's like people actually like to read the online rules of football over watching the champions league final!

Oh man! I have seen 20y who needed just 3 weeks to popup from 13 to 14. Perhaps you should use the topic "»Sokker Questions/Answers" for questions about the training... ;p
Whatever, when I here Prodigy, I like their songs as they are and I do not expect a different version or new songs. The same applies for sokker. I accept it as it is and I do not expect something to change.
