greg doesn't want to sell it

When did you start reading this forum? Is a serious question. Because literally everything you suggest is already discussed over and over again on this forum and staff forum.

Raise cash is to buy PLUS, but nothing is developed with that money (fact!), buying the game has been discussed over and over again and won't happen, it's greg hobby and will stay greg's hobby.

EDIT: find test server topic on staff forum, ask for test server access and open the forums. See what has been suggested in last 10 years to the DEVs. It will give you a good idea of all hard work that has been done already. All the attempts to improve Sokker in almost every way.

Article from 2013: https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/2013/01/11/rob-pegoraro-flash-player/1815553/
A combination of mobile apps for Android and iOS plus an unchanged desktop site works just fine.

The desktop Flash plug-in doesn't seem to have lost many users. Adobe cites stats showing this software on 99 percent of "Internet-enabled PCs" in 2011, and most computer vendors and browser developers still ship Flash.

Article from 2015:
Microsoft Silverlight is really no-different technology. It's also a plug-in.

HTML5 is nothing more than a graphics API, driven by open-source-code JavaScript scripts which can be dynamically modified on-the-fly by content that could come from anywhere

So, even though people happily "diss" Flash for being "insecure," the fact of the matter is that HTML5+JavaScript is and always has been far more open to exploit.

Same here Vilpu, although I didn't just stop paying or plus, I left the game (with the devs not trying, as much as I enjoyed the game, I couldn't see the point in putting all the time in).

Unfortunately due to this, when I came back, I've had to start a new team, with no finances and no history, so it's actually really hard to get the motivation to get fully involved in it knowing that its going to take at least 5-8 seasons (2+ real years) to have a team that can't just be bought.

With there was some incentive for returning players, even if it wasn't financial, but just being able to be reallocated to your old team would be nice. A financial incentive would be even better, because, yes it may be unfair to other complete newbies, but you did put in a lot of time to the game, and likely money previously, a slight leg up for returning players wouldn't hurt

If it's a matter of raising cash, let's raise the cash, put it to them how much is needed and let's get on it, can we buy the game of them even? how much?

I have made a serious effort now with Greg about this matter, lets see the response..
Last time i asked him was years ago, and he wasn't positive then!

I am a js/react-native (IOS/Android) developer
I can help to develop something interesting. Money is not a big question for me. I love this game )

I believe the job of promoting the game in a more contemporary way would be enough to keep it running with a steady flow of people. But since Google stopped sending information about the pagerank, the outreach work that was already obsolete (from creating topics in random forums) stopped being performed.

I performed some tests simply with the disclosure from the comments on youtube and realized that some new teams were created in Brazil. I'm sure that if this work of promoting the game were better crafted, we would have a much larger number of users than we currently have.

Sounds good to me, worth a go Mateus

It's pointless, out of 100 new users maybe 5 play for longer than a month

about half of users logs 0 times/1 time

there's no sense in this game for new users, the difference in skil level/money gathere by top 100 in a country and a new user is so vast, that the new user has 0.0000001% to achieve anything in nearest 3-30 years, depending on country

Unfortunately I feel you are correct, especially if a team wants to fight for a championship be it the national cup or the top league
2017-10-15 13:42:24
Then again, how do you think it goes irl? No way a freshly starting team can compete against a big team for championship...
It's the way of approach that needs to be changed like the strength of a starting team for instance. You need to fire every singel player in your starting team cause they are hopeless players! Aswel as your coaches... Worthless... Give them something to build on...

ever heard of RB Leipzig?

in real life you can bring your own money to the table
if you're a billionaire you can make a highly successful and competitive club in a matter of years
you can even buy a license to start in 3rd or 2nd league

there's nothing in common here
