I just whant to know: how many users keep the school open, is it youth school to expensive, brings money back or not...

You can look for youth competitions to see how many have youth. (i do not think there are many teams that do have youth and do not play matches with youth :) )
I gots a youthschoool, always 30 free spots. but its really dificult, since my sokker organicer jammed. I have now idea what kind of talent my players´s have.. but I don´t give a shit, I gots a lot of zlotys to whipe my ass.

it's a shame but for me it's too expensive to keep the youth school open. the only way i could afford it in my current setting is with a 500€ coach, which comes down to wasting the available talent.

I saled this crap for 250k euro

18 yo
weak, very good
adequate, average
average

he was excellent YP...

you should sell bad players for enough money to bring back your money at least. and you get more fun

with the 2 decent pulls i had i could open my youtschool for about 15-20 seasons :-)

though they are my trainés :p

I opened my youth school since first day in the game and, for me, is a very important part of this game.
My finances are healthy although youth school takes important expenses.

My financial idea is to pay youth school and his trainer with matches incomes and player sales.
Meanwhile sponsors pay wages and stadium expenses every week.
When I get benefits I build stadium or buy players to improve my team. :)

I to

not expensive for me :D

but another problem is my weak juniors :)
2010-09-17 23:21:07
my juniors are terrible since the new system was introduced , im thinking about not playing a team in youth leagues next season , maybe they will improve
2010-09-17 23:24:19
indeed...

lol, I'm among the 8 ones who voted for no...
I didn't have any decent junior for a couple of seasons, it was useless, I closed it 2 weeks ago... My best was an incredible one, sold for around 1M or less, afair...2-3 formidable-outstanding, others non-talented who were supposed to be excellent after 30 weeks of waiting...

maybe I'll be more lucky next time I open it...

that's basically what it is: a lottery and a luxury. you can make a profit if you're lucky enough but only if you have the budget to start one and only if you have the budget you can make a profit because of all those managers who can't afford to haven an open youth team long enough to find the kind of talent they need but are still looking for youth talents so they are willing to pay sometimes insane prices.

for a beginner like me it would come down to the choice between a first team and a youth team, when you know that sponsors and supps only rely on the guaranteed matches from that team it's hardly an option to choose for an uncertain match of youths instead ... hell those youth team guys cost more then the average wages in my squad and i would have to gain enough cash for both of those squads? simply no way :s

With my luck i can not stop it forever:

youth players sold for more than one million.

1. Celes Long 05/07/2009 ** € 2,236,000 (€ 112,250)
2. Roan Weeber 06/04/2010 ** € 2,228,000 (€ 222,000)
3. Nathan Engelshoven 11/14/2009 ** € 1,530,000 (€ 96,500)
4. Robbin Gilkes 02/09/2009 ** € 1,381,000 (€ 240,250)
5. Rein Hooijen Farmer 07/09/2010 ** € 1,171,750 (€ 150,750)

Juniors income € 14.676.770

right to come:
Aaron Westerweel 17 brilliant outfield 6 -> talent 3.5

I have closed mine ever since my future england superstar (currently the best 18yo winger in England) sold for 5k. 16yo with 21 winger points sells for that in silly season, wtf.
2010-09-18 09:55:46
how will you ever be able to see one of your own rise to be an nt star without a decent junior school?

it is not a question of money for me.

2010-09-18 11:20:41
Yep, that's my opninion to, and now I have Dhuinslager and Maertens who both belong to the top of theire age
