Sokker advertising information
The Google search algorithm determines popularity of a website partially by the number of links to the site on a per-country basis. This means that more www pages linking to Sokker in your country will result in a higher position in search engines results.
For example, if a user in Poland searches for 'soccer manager' in Google he will get Sokker on the first search position. Similarly is with other keywords eg. 'football manager online'. This is because Sokker is such a popular game in Poland. You can also make this happen in your own country by linking more www pages to Sokker!
With bad search placement, people searching for a new soccer/football game in Google will find other games before Sokker, so don't register. In turn these lost users won't link anywhere on forum or their personal webpages, thereby continuing the chain of not improving Sokker's placement , and not enabling us to grow.
Where to add links and info about Sokker?
The most obvious place to add links and info of Sokker is anywhere you can find through searching in Google. The easiest is on forums advertising games or page catalogs ((Guac: what is this??)). By locating these through searching on Google, it ensures that Google will see the page and will count links to Sokker.
Of course you can also advertise for Sokker on closed forums (not able to find by Google eg. like hattrick forum). This will also result in new users as well, but will not change Sokker's position in the search engines in your country. But still very helpful to do so!
How to search forums in Google to use for posting Sokker advertisements?

30 days free Plus for each new user who buy Plus the first time.
So when you, for example, get 10 or 20 new users to play Sokker using that link www.sokker.org/?buddy=your_login or they type your login in User that invite you: in Registration, and 5 of them buy Plus the first time, you get 5 months free Plus.

Sorry but it still sounds that it doesn't worth it, Oh man how much reffering systems in my life I tried but people just don't like to be a refferal.Also this game don't attract much users making this almost pointless.
even if someone make an account with your reffering, the probability that he will buy a plus is like 1%.
Promotion is never useless and always worth it :) Sit back and watch the number of managers go down and do nothing about it is not a solution and will change nothing ;)
If managers want a more fun competition in their own country and have a chance to earn free Plus, the only thing that will definitely work is more promotion. With promotion more people will get to know Sokker exists (because they read the promotion text or because Sokker is at page one on search engines because of the posted links), so more people will try out Sokker, and more new managers will keep playing Sokker. Without promotion non of these things will ever happen.
And if the link is made well, they don't even know or care they started playing Sokker with a refferal link like this:

Your estimation of 1% is based on absolutely nothing. And even it was just 1%, it's still more as nothing :) And free Plus is only 1 nice result of more promotion, another nice result is more fun and exciting leagues with more active managers and less botteams, and also more new managers means more new youth players so a better national U21 team and in the end a better national team, a more fun and active national forum, etc etc etc.
I know people loves to be negative with all the 'won't work' and 'no use' comments, some are even better in it as others, but that won't help Sokker in any way! So please, too those who can only see impossibilities and don't want to do any extras to help Sokker, this topic isn't meant for you.

Yea i really adore your work with this but i have really big question for you: don't you have something better to do? like spending more time with your girlfriend and not spending time to promote sokker or if you don't have one try to find one or something useful for you or others. We might say thank you for what you've done for sokker but greg... i don't think he really cares. does he ?
No I don't really have a girlfriend, and at the moment I'm learning a new program, Flash. Last few months I learned Paint.net and I have an update course planned for Autocad when I understand Flash. So I have enough other useful stuff that I do :)

In less then 30 minutes or an 1 hour a week someone can post dozens of promotion texts on numerous good soccer-, sports- and game websites and make a real difference on the total number of new managers in a country. Most managers spend a lot more time on Sokker as 1 hour staring at the forums. In that same time managers could also have posted a couple of promotion texts and a good chance to earn months of free Plus by doing that, and save some money for not having to buy Plus :)
