I have never encountered such problem, but I think it is everything ok with Your Java since You are able to start SV.
I would try checking firewall or sth like that. When You press ok on login window, then some data is going to be downloaded from the internet and maybe just maybe your firewall does not allow SV to do this and shuts it down somehow.

You can check sokker.log file for errors. Or if that file does not exist but You are using SV from links in my post above then You should be able to start SV via one of those files: start.bat which should create last_execution.log file which may contain some useful info about potential error.

I tried installing again - it works now. Don't know what went wrong the first time. :)

hmm weird, it's not working and I downloaded java too. The .exe file doesn't open or do anything

I double click it and nothing comes up, any ideas?

run it with start.bat and check file last_execution.log after that

Ty, it was the 64 bit version that didn't work. 32 bit works fine

hello, does SV still working? I have downloaded the 64 bit version, i have installed the latest Java version, i have enter the sokkerviewer.exe file and when i enter the username and password, it doesn't do anything. Any help? thanks

maybe firewall is blocking it? (I think that is the case)

and ultimately if You have version from here http://sokker.org/forum_topic/ID_forum/12246/ID_topic/3328684/pg/1 then it contains additional files for helping in diagnostics/problems etc. You can try it, user start.bat and check last_execution.log after closing SV, maybe there will be errors there which could point what exactly is the problem
