According to rhe rules (see page 1), the first 32 teams participate. In the past tournaments, teams on waiting list (like teams from place 33 to 37) replaced some teams for various reasons (withdraw, ban etc) and they participated in the tournament. However, I can give no warranty, that this will happen again. If such a case, I will send you immediately a skmail.

As you all see, 32 + 6 teams have registered.
This means, that 6 teams have to wait and will participate only if a team manager cancels his participation.

However, if anyone of you has an idea of how to make this tournament for 36 or 38 teams, please write it here. According to the rules, we can change the rules till tomorrow!

If we could extend the tournament from week 2 to 9 we could have a format with an eliminatory phase with 6 groups of 5 teams and 2 of 4 teams more similar to a world cup (there would be 2 vacancies in case someone else joins) with the difference that would only pass the group leader and then be played from 1/8. I do not know what you think? and if the others are in agreement and they do not have occupied those weeks that I propose. The tournament would be more competitive and more exciting and we could all participate.;)

Being the groups of 5 teams will require 5 dates to play all against all, thus, 8 dates are required for those who reach the final which would imply that it crossed with the America Cup.

Let's find another two teams.

week 3 - 40 teams
week 4 - 20 teams
week 5 - 10 teams
week 6 to 9 final group of 5 teams

36 teams

9 groups - 4 teams in every group (winners of all groups and 7 best second places go to the knock-out stage)

Weeks 3 - 5 Group stage
week 6 - 1/8
week 7 - 1/4
week 8 - 1/2
week 9 - Final

Or - if we want to finish one week earlier:

Only best 8 winners of 9 groups go to the quarterfinals. Maybe it's brutal but every team will play at least 3 games
