2016-12-22 17:13:38
Where do have you this information from? Directly from greg?
2016-12-22 17:35:02
no matter from where, its true ;)

wow, i realy hope he/they will come with a masterplan that saves the game :)

But i am afraid it will be a very tough job. And Greg should take advise (etc) from someone else... i don't know if he is willing to do that.

From greg (one of the Sokker developers):

We are seeking a Web Developer to carry out Sokker Manager web page modifications on selected user ideas or requests.
It is planned as an extra job for the programmer, 1-2 hours daily, 5 days a week. Also possible is an extra bonus eg. 10% of Sokker income rise after implementation of selected ideas.

An ideal candidate would meet these requirements:
- experience with developing web pages, proven with portfolio
- good knowledge of php programming
- experience with MySQL databases
- experience with at least one php framework
- active Sokker club manager and activity on forums

If interested, please send your CV with portfolio of web pages (links) and your expected wage per hour to sokker@sokker.org

Notice that Sokker Manager website code is quite ancient, it was developed In 2003 and is not even object-oriented in most part. Ok, you have been warned :)

We are looking also for someone with Adobe Flash Animate CC knowledge to convert all Sokker Flash animations on the site to HTML5. Separate, one-time job only (also expected wage, CV and portfolio).

2. Click on Export HTML5 button to launch the relevant export wizard window.
3. Click on OK button to start the conversion process.
4. After the exporting process has been finished, please go to the directory you specified to preview .html file.
5. Collect paycheck.

Not excatly but close enough :)

If it's so easy, then apply for the job :)
2016-12-25 10:48:38
If its so easy i dont think they would need help. So i guess its not :)
2016-12-25 11:04:36
I am not sure, but if i am right that method only works for simple animations, not for games like this. But again i could be wrong. It is something i think i remember of a discussion some years ago.
I know I do not belong here, but you might quickly get to the programozótokhoz:

The match engine in domestic guest-shirts When selecting a program, always choose two similar shirts. It would be good if the home-guest mezekből answer would be very different colors and shades. The matches are sometimes impossible to distinguish the two team's players, especially if someone is looking at the normal view of the match.

The programming should work the other way around ...

Its not really one man job, its a huge job for a team to transform the code to html5. This is going to be hard!
