Small Austria (small because 28th in rank of users of the 32 participants of this wc) had a giantic performance against Germany.

Slamtam´s team was defeated after 120 minutes and believe me, they were very close to a big surprise.
Unfortunately they missed a penalty on minute 116.
On minute 117 they missed also another big chance and the GREEK DRAMA was perfect for Austria! (Remember, I am a Greek Freak!)

However, my big respect for the Austrian community and for Slamtam´s bravery to play with 3 strikers against Germany.

I think it is painful to loose a semifinal and so I will not write more words here, than the following 2 lines:
Congratulations for the deserved bronze medal. If someone smashes out of the competition Brazil, Uruguay, France and Romania, then he deserves at least a bronze medal!

I hope you enjoyed our match. Me, I enjoyed it, because I knew I had to face one of the best offensive sokker tacticians. ;)

For me it was an experience of watching one of the best sokker matches, despite there were no goals. Both teams with an offensive orientation and both with perfect organised defence.

I wish to meet your team again in 22 weeks in the final ;P

Fernando, I just watched your semifinal match and I have to admit that you were very close to destroy the czech cave... I do not think the Czechs were happy watching this semifinal... and perhaps some of them closed their eyes on minute 65...

Thank you very much for the words. I watched some of his games too, you have done an excellent job, and it has not started now, I already admired the Philippines team.

I think there was a lack of strength for the attackers in Estonia in the clashes with the Czech defenders (who are very good), our best attacker was in form (7) and the other two are players as young as 20.
