:D

In these days, misoniasm defeated wooderianism. But, you are right. This fight isn't over yet. ;) Good luck tsolias.

My apologies for taking me so long to appear here ;-) First of all, let me congratulate all medallists, especially to Tsolias. The matches against Germany has been incredibly tough and rather level. After all, these were the only two matches where we had to fight hard till the very last moments of the games. In the group stage, we scored the winner in 88', and in the final, we had to save the 2:2 equalizer even till 89'! Fortunately for us, this equalizer had been a heavy punch for Germans, and we rolled on to win in the overtime.

So here we are! It seems completely unbelievable to me, as two years ago when I took over the Czech U21, I was thinking that getting at least one medal during my campaign would be awesome. Now, after just 4 World Cup cycles of mine, we have one bronze, one silver, and two golds. Moreover, we skyrocketed to the first place in the world ranking (closing to 3500 rank, which might well be an all-time record). But now it might be time to move by and give a chance to someone else; we will see. But this doesn't mean at all that the Czech fairytale is going to end (hopefully)!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who helped me a lot during these campaigns. First of all, I must thank the Czech community as without the support and the amazing training progress of our key players our success would have been likely impossible. Some of our great players have been also trained abroad as well, especially Kaltmann and Sys (thanks sorynuta_22 and autcristi!). I cannot forget about my team, especially blackx and Ortwin who were very helpful throughout the campaign, and also mison (aka Sokker bug) and Mysi who woke up occasionally and helped when our team was in troubles!

Tsolias, thanks for your kind words. You prepared your team well and silver is a great success for Germany. Two teams could have won, one fairytale was to come true.

The German one was called DA, DA, DA. It is about tsolias, a German adventurer, who returned from Philippines to Germany to make them U21 champions for the first time in their history. Every failure made him stronger and soon he became strong enough to reach the final. The Czech republic, former champions who defeated his best generation twice, stood in his way. But last time they defeated him only by last-minute goal and as I said, every failure only made him stronger. Now he was strong enough to win.

The second fairytale is about the Czechs led by ostulc who had already won the World Cup. He wanted to retire as well as one of his assistants, Ortwin. But The Czechs sent their very best players to him and asked him to win the Cup again. This generation has never been defeated. In their 18th (and last) match they were to face Germany. It was close. Really close. But the Czechs are the most dangerous in last minutes. We have not won all the first halfs in this tournament, but in the second half we always emerged victorious. The Czech fairytale came true.

Thanks to all the people who supported us in any way. I spent ten seasons as a scout of Czech U21 NT and I have always dreamt of such a generation that would be literally invincible. Thank you all!

I have already spent almost nine seasons as a scout of senior team and you may have noticed that our senior team has become much stronger recently. We were defeated twice by Romania (semi- and quarter-finals), last time the match was even til the red card. ;)

not now :) in the future, when ostulc thinks he can handle it :)
