Prologue:

For you who do not know anything about the U21 World Cup or what happened in previous editions, with this prologue you will know all the details possible to take advantage of this great competition, here we show the characters that will be part of this story.

The Czech empire dominated over the U21 teams in the last 4 seasons, ostulc became the biggest winner in the history of the competition and the coach who most often came to U21WC finals.

But he withdrew from his empire and a new emperor was put in his place, blackx hopes to maintain dominion of the Czech empire at all costs, but as always, new and old faces appear in this story to change the course of the future ...

Stronger than ever, tsolias hopes his new German army will win this battle in a new rematch, but the Polish army with crisr does not want to be left behind in this.

But we also have new faces in this environment, like mison in Estonia and Attila in Hungary for example.

Old faces like djimi with Croatia and Artista with Montenegro wants to participate in this ''dance''.

And a old King that wants to be back as a world power with his new kingdom that is Woody with Brazil.

There are billions of people in the world, but only 32 people are chosen, only 32 have the chance to become U21 World Champions in the 16th Edition of the U21 World Cup in sokker. Dear reader, in the coming weeks you will follow the segment of this story and how it will end, let the games begin!

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hello, i'm a french retired, and I play Sokker Manager for more than 12 years, and since some years, (sorry I do not remeber when) I join National Team managment to follow young players.

In the past, France be U21 World Champion but in the recent years, Success passed away from the French gate... how do you see this situation and how is your motivation to make this situation change so that France can show the sokker its power?

France has very good teams, we have a CCC winner with camsom, but we have so less teams, so less school, and the reservoir of player is reducing, so it is difficult to get a great team as PhiPhi who earn the U21 World cup. So the selection is reduce, because some post are foresake , because multi training. But sometimes we have some stars who arrives. So even if this Wold cup seems difficult for us ( but for some others teams so), I will play our card and I hope to go higher is possible for our team.

You will face in the 1st round Türkiye that was also in the past World Champion and since then has been struggling to return to the success of the past, probably will be a hard match, but beyond Türkiye, tell me what you think of your other opponents in the group... what about Bosna i Hercegovina and Nederland? How do you see the opponents of your group?

I think, this teams in this groupe are very close, Tûrkyie seems the first team, and Nederland could be a challenger as France, Bona i Hercegovina seems little bit bellow, but can create a surprise. This groupe seems open.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Our team has some chance, and get some futur great players (Janvion, Puech, Meriem, Ducret...) Our better Mid-def Senac , who is a star, unfortunatly is out of form since two seasons, and does not participate to the U21WC. but a team is not only One player, but several players playing together.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see France as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Polska or Romania.
IMO We are not favorite, but why Not? sometimes sokker engine bring surprise.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of France?

This was the Hour, and I have some times to do that.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Yes , this can be possible in Group to have a surprise, but in the final phase, it seems more delicate, a sokker engine can bring once a surprise, but twice, I do not believe it

Any words you want to tell the community?

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hello Woody, hello all. I am the one, who will bring the third cup in row to Česká republika. After two years as an assistant coach, I am in charge of our great team. And Woody, Mison might be your nemesis now, but I will be your nightmare for the eternity!

Officially will be your 1st U21WC as coach, but in last edition you help ostulc as a assistant and in these last seasons Česká republika dominated the competition, the question is... After ostulc's tremendous success, do you feel pressure to know that you can fail? How is the motivation to try to continue this legacy for Česká republika?

The longest question of all time. Pressure is still quite the same, I am not alone, just my name will, or not will be on the cup or medal… For motivation, here I have to thank you Woody, you and your tremendous loss in last quarterfinals is my motivation, that great throw-in in final against GER is my motivation, that half a year of work on this generation is my motivation… So I am motivated enough, or not?

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

Vietnam – underdog, but they made draw with Greece last season, so it’ll be fun to watch them

Argentina – good team, but very bad prep for WC, struggle in offensive phase.

Greece - strongest opponent, good offensive phase, hope our defs will stop them.

Overall, our group is one of the more interesting, but I have to say, that it would be really bad If CZE were eliminated in the group stage.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Our team is well prepared, I’ve started a program for the final phase of the training for each player, and in qualifiers we focused on younger players for the WC. And I have some key players in our squad: Ortwin, ostulc, Mysi etc. They are irreplaceable.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Česká republika as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Well, I think that Brasil can win this time. Just kidding... Cup will stay in Europe, that is my only prophecy for this question. And yes, Česká republika is definitely one of the favorites.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Česká republika?

Ostulc and Ortwin are on the beginning of senile process. Leading the NT wants steady hands, here I am!

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Schweiz, they have a really good coach, finally.

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

I'm Jubaldu, I'm 34 years old, and this is my second sokker experience, where I played between 2006-2011. A couple of years ago I recovered the desire to suffer every Sunday (and now I also suffer on Fridays too)

Will be your 1st U21WC as coach, How are you feeling for this competition? A little apprehensive or calm? How is the motivation to try to make a good result?

Every game I take as a challenge to life or death.
No. That's not right. I'd better say that it amuses and entertains me, it's just a game ..

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

All rivals have a great level, we hope to make our game and the results accompany closed matches and a classification where the goal difference can end up making a difference. In a world cup everything can happen.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Argentina is a team with competitive tradition and we prepare ourselves for this challenge, we hope to have variants to surprise the rivals. There is no figure, every player is irreplaceable, but if you want to bet on a pichichi (top scorer) do not forget to give some chips by Juan Manuel Tabachnik

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Argentina as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Without a doubt, the only favorite is Brazil. He has a great team full of figures and a winning coach. I do not want to be in your group or your side of the key. The rest of the teams participated for the second place. :P

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Argentina?

I felt it was the moment, that and that there were no other candidates.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

I have not followed the other teams too much to be honest ... but I would like to see many teams from America in the final phase.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Just to thank them for the good energy they bring to all those who, in one way or another, collaborate to keep the community active!

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

People in the Česká republika say I prefer mostly numbers in my excel sheets, more than sexy girlz in my bed. That´s true. This is what I am.

Last edition you play the final against Česká republika, probably one of the most exciting finals in history that ended up making Germany lose the gold after a clutch play in the end of the match, so... how is your motivation for this time the gold trophy gets in your hands?

Last time I was transported to the hospital, because of a heartattack caused by a goal on the 90th minute.
My motivation this time? I don´t know... I am very cautious. I invited a friend of me, a doctor, to be present at my home on the 11th of January (it´s Friday, week 09).

You will face in the 1st round Magyarország that shows in this competition good squads, probably will be a hard match, but beyond Magyarország, tell me what you think of your other opponents in the group... what about Hrvatska and USA? How do you see the opponents of your group?

Croatia can be a big trouble for every oponent, if their players are in form, or if the oponent makes mistakes. For USA it is also possible to create trouble, but it is more difficult to happen.
You know, a red card can change balances in sokker and in the last worldcup, in the first 4 of 5 matches, German players faced a red card. My players play tough and this is risky!

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Midfield superstar Valentin Pitter is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same.
I experienced this situation in the past weeks. However, I think that my team can win gold; with Pitter or without.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Deutschland as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Deutschland is just an underdog. I see only one favorite and this is Brazil, because of Woody. All other teams will fight to have luck to avoid Brazil, till the final. On the final, Brazil will win just by 1-0 and this will happen, because Woody wants us to hope, that we can beat him!

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Deutschland?

I was coaching Pilipinas U21, when somebody told me "forget Pilipinas - it´s much more fun with a bigger community!" I think the name of this guy is Woody! ;p

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Schweiz, Österreich and Lietuva are small teams that can surprise and get far in the competition. They can go far, because their communities have the Tsolias-virus. This is a mutation of Woodyrianism.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

I am just a man that put accent on details. I like to think that I learn for my mistake. In this game, for me is important statistics (specifically on juniors teams).

In this U21WC edition, there are many Romanian coaches participating, how positive do you see this for the Romanian community in the sokker? And how is the motivation to try to make a good result in this U21WC?

I think that it is important that all coaches (not just roumanian coaches) obtain results that will grow up their team in National teams by ranking points. I do not think that romanian coaches are better than others. Is not important for Romanian community (in sokker) how romanian coaches participating in this U21 World Cup. I saw that there are few romanian users from year to year. I think the real question is why that happened?

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

All my opponent is better. I real think this year USA U21 will not wins any point (statistically does not).

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Ooo, this year is one of the worse. USA U21 dose not have any very good player for world cup. For example:
- the best 2 defenders: first = 14 defend + 10 pace and the second = 14 defend + 9 pace;
- the best 2 mid players: first = 12 playmaker + 12 passing and the second = 14 playmaker + 6 passing;
- the best 2 striker: first = 13 striker + 11 technique and the second = 12 striker + 7 technique

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see USA as a favorite to win the U21WC?

I choose just 1 team: Polska U21 (because are the best players on this year).

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of USA?

I like USA citizens because when you have good results they are vote you and when you have not good results they will not vote you (look what hapend on USA election). In my country a lot of users say somethink like this "if you want to participate to election you must stay a lot on forum". For me this thought is not productive/professional.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

I do not small anything :)). For me is important only USA U21 results.

Any words you want to tell the community?

I want to say to all community to vote on election time users that wins in balanced matches :))

2 U21WC finals as coach

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

My name is Rodrigo Carvalho, i play this game since a lot of years and coach U21 teams about 4-5 years... in this game i know by the nickname Woody and as the King, the true and only as the best U21 coach in the history of this game.

In the last edition, you coached Schweiz U21 and in the knockout stage, you lead till minute 62 against Česká republika, which won the match and then became champion.
Furthermore, you reached the final with Schweiz and you become champion with Polska. Which are the main differences between your current Brazli U21 squad and your prior champion-teams and how is your motivation now, with Brazil U21?

Just to remember, I just came back in that season to coach a U21 team because the guy who was in Switzerland did not want to continue and I did not think it was just as cool a community as theirs that helped me a lot in the past without someone experienced for such a hard competition, I only had 2 weeks to know the team and make some miracles to make that team make the results that make in so little time, Maybe if I had had more than 1 season with that squad, advising on the training of the players that Switzerland had, it might be possible to beat Czech Rep, since it was nitied that although I showed superiority in strategy, I had a much lower team and so it was not possible to win that match.

About differences between Switzerland and Poland... One community is much bigger than the other and the expectation of the community is totally different too, when I became coach in Poland, they did interviews asking me several things like if I were a superstar, Switzerland despite having a smaller community is very united, but they will not push you to win a U21WC, they will only push you to win the DACH-Cup, that if you lose you are considered shit to the community... And the difference between these two and Brazil... people in Brazil want to see your country win, but they like to help you too, you see that you are in trouble and like to help the national teams, so I would say that Brazil is a community with similarities to Poland and Switzerland in some aspects but with a team of level in Poland today! My motivation? Be the best ever, for me i am the best, and win my second gold trophy only will show that i am right!

You will face in the 2nd round Eesti, which won 3-0 against Brazil, before 4 weeks. Tell me what you think of Eesti and your other group opponents, Lietuva and England?

Match against Estonia was that type of match that the result do not shows how the match was, but we also was test things, so I do not care about the result, I care is with the results I'm going to do now in this U21WC, as we said in Brazil: ''Train is train, game is game!''

Normal group, If we beat Lithuania, I can easily say that we will be in the U21WC final, everything will depend on winning Lithuania. Because even if we make a negative result against Estonia, England have a lazy and inferior coach.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

I think that Brazil have the best team today in the world (not only the team, the best coach too), and we have a lot of players that could make the difference, like Tonho, Jorginho and your striker Túlio.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Brasil as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Yes, in fact the most favorite team to win this U21WC is Brazil since have the best squad and the best coach, so... if you are a coach and answer the questions and do not put my country as a favorite, you're a buck!
And the teams that are favorites to be defeated by Brazil in the final is Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Estonia.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Brazil?

I want to be the first and only coach in U21 to win with a South American team a U21 World Cup, i am a brazilian guy and Brazil is the chance to make that happen and this will happen, in week 9 we all will see a gold trophy in the History of the Brazilian page in this game!

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Montenegro as it is the land of true sokker GOD in this U21 world that is Del Piero, a team that have 30 users and is top 15 in the rank can all show some surprises.

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Well, I joined sokker in 2004, so I play this game half of my life. I am also half-professional poker player, who travels a lot around the world.

A while ago, I remember I always saw Lietuva in the U21WC with real#arti as coach and in the last seasons you struggled for it to happen again and finally succeeded, tell us about the difficulties you had on the way to make it possible again and how is the motivation to try to make a good result for Lietuva?

This is my 8th season of U21 NT coaching. When I took the control of the team, it was in 38th ranking and in Group stage there always were 2 very strong teams to beat. During few seasons I managed to get into second pouch with 24th rating and it was way more easier to get into World Cup. Also, there was an amazing last group stage game, which was really close to eliminate Romania from not getting into World cup, but leading 1-0 we lost 1-2 and they qualify in second place. Those are the games which gives all the motivation to get better and better!

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

I would say we were really unlucky with a group - Eesti is top team, but they took only 2nd palce in group, so they are "the weaker" team in the group. It will be very hard - I hope every game will be interesting till the end of the match, but Lithuania will need to pray for some luck!

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

The start of the WC is awful - we just lost our main MID for 27 days injury and second best striker for 2 matches. We also have one striker, which I would say is one of the best of 21yo, so maybe he will make the magic :)

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Lietuva as a favorite to win the U21WC?

I would bet my money on Deutchland - they have one of the best managers in sokker and last year they lost sensational finals, so I think tsolias will be very motivated to win the tournament!
For Lietuva - if we manage to get out of the group it will be amazing and then anything can happen, but to be realistic - this time it will be really hard. We have really good players 19yo, so we won't be very upset, after 2 years we might be much harder Nut :)

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Lietuva?

It was too less motivation to train only club and I am one of the most active users from Lietuva, so it was just a natural decision, which gives me happiness right now.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

I would say Cuba can be a surprise for everyone.

Just enjoy the game and be happy!

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hi, Woody. I am God of sokker (Bůh sokkeru in czech). :D. I play this game more than 12 years and I was coach of Czech, Czech U21, Indonesia U21, Albania, Algeria U21, Armenia U21 (maybe I forgot something) and now, I am coach of Eesti U21. In real life, I'm much more normal :D. I am 23 years old. I am a student of master's degree at university and I live in a small village on the slopes of Jeseniky mountains without sewerage and water supply :D (Czech countryside is tough - snow, cold and hard alcohol). What is next? I dont know. Maybe I am highest coach on WC (203 cm)? :D I am Yeti :D

Eesti was a semifinalist in the last U21WC edition and in the past you make your debut in U21WC with Indonesia, what are the differences between these 2 countries in sokker? Is there pressure because on Estonia's legacy in this competition? How is the motivation to try to make a good result in this U21WC?

My goal is clear. I want medal. Last WC, I was asistent of Ostulc in Czech republic U21 and now it is time, show who's the tactician master in Czech. :D Back to countries. The coaching in Indonesia was amazing. The people were enormously friendly and communicative. In two seasons I got them from the 60th place in rank to the world cup and playoff was to close. :D Only bad score :C. That was amazing. Estonia is different. People are more cold (just like Czechs). But their team has quality and I believe I will succeed. Then the ice melts. ;)

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

:D You (Woody) are my opponent and you know, that I'm your Nemesis. In the friendly match before WC you lost 3:0 with me. You cried like a little girl on skype. And you lose again (despite the quality of your team). Bryan ( England) and fornado (Lithuania) are very experienced coaches, but my team is better. I have to move to play off. It's my duty for Eesti managers.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

My team is good. :D The team is very balanced. For example, I cant say that DEFs are better than ATT and conversely. The team is balanced. No stars, no weaknesses. But, one star is in my team... Salmo Roopold! He is a terminator.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Eesti as a favorite to win the U21WC?

World cup has many favourites to win. Our teams (Eesti and Brasil) are among them. Poland and Czech rep. will be very strong. But I will be honest. I didnt look at how the other teams are strong. I really don’t care. Now I'm interested only in our group (Brasil, England and Lithuania). Step by step.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Eesti?

:D I wanted to be a coach a strong team after a break after Indonesia U21. I wanted Slovakia U21 first, but I wrote that, as an original Czech colony, they are really successful and are in the third world a great example for the former colonies of England, France and so on. :D :D It was too much for Slovak nationalism. :D :D After this, I went to Eesti and they chose me. Thank you for this chance. ;)

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Slovakia? :D Brasil? Poland? This is stupid question. On WC aren’t small team and everyone can succeed.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Last time I broke a forum with an Indonesian swamp and now I say: Show must go on!!! :D Winter is coming!!!

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hi, my name is Francesco I live in Milan I'm 50 and I have a wonderful family with my wife 3 sons and a very nice dog, called ska, as my favorite music.
I work in a big company and I deal with sales, I love reading, walking in the mountains, listening to music, being with friends, and lots of other things.

Cuba show a good work with his community in sokker and in the future good team that could represent the national team in the future, how is this work done and how is the motivation to make a good result in U21WC

The Cuban community has grown a lot, from Italy we have supported founding the federation Amici di Cuba led by the founder, my friend Re_ietto and we are committed, especially at the beginning, to train only Cuban players, now the community is very active and the major national has just won Copa America, congratulations to kakà and all the friends of the Cuban community, who also help me a lot, in particular jenerey and dmgomez who are in the staff and are always ready to help me.
All the results achieved with the Cuban national teams are the result of teamwork, training, scouting, a competition dedicated to the best young players with prizes for the winners (the first 3 play in nt u21 during a friendly match at the end season), discussions and tactical advice.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

there is a clear favorite of course, Poland, which is also one of the candidates for the final victory, then Uruguay and Arzebaigian with which we could play even if we arrive at the World Championship with a not very competitive generation, I think that Poland and uruguay are the favorites of the group.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: '' He is too good that when he does not play, '' the team is not the same '' ... if there is, tell us.

As said, we are not the best U21 Cuba ever, but we will try to honor.
we only have one player who could play in many other national, the defender Carvajal, but the next generation will be more competitive and already in this world we will see some U20s in the field

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams are the favorites in your opinion, and you see Cuba as a favorite to win the U21WC?

The usual imagine, Poland on all, but I hope Italy win;)

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Cuba?

I have already trained in the past with satisfaction, as I managed, together with the staff and the community, to land for the first time in the u21 w.c.
For this new cycle there was not a Cuban candidate, so I proposed myself. The philosophy of the federation Amici di Cuba has always been the national first to Cuban managers

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Vietnam is fierce, I saw it during qualifying, we managed to eliminate Bulgaria, much more listed than us.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Have fun at all

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Greetings to all. My name is Rashad. I'm 31. Married. I have one son. For now ))

Will be your 3rd U21WC as coach, You are already a very experienced coach in this competition, does the experience in this case really help in your opinion to solve the strategies? How is the motivation to try to make a good result in this U21WC?

In fact, this is my second cycle at the head of the junior team as a whole. It all depends on the situation, experience helps or not. But experience is still important. Especially in the final stage of the groups. results may vary. The main thing that there was no injury.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

The opponents are very good, strong. As the coach of these teams. You asked about motivation in the second paragraph. But I will answer this question in 3m) What can you say about motivation if that opponent you won in the very first match of your team career for the first time got into your group again and already 1 match will be played)

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

There are a couple of such players. But about this after the selection: P

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Azərbaycan as a favorite to win the U21WC?

My favorites are the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany.
Two seasons ago we played in this stage with the Czechs. They then played in the final. What about our chance to win, well, I think we can make the jump and reach the finals.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Azərbaycan?

I once coached the junior team of our country. And I liked this thing. It so happened that at the time of the election I wanted to coach another foreign team from the group stage and I was offered the post of our team and I agreed. After this cycle, again, I think to try a foreign kamandu.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Difficult to answer the 7th question)

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hello sokker! I guess pretty much everyone knows me already. I'm the strongest manager in the history of this game, playing this great game since 2005. I'm 35 years old M.Sc. in papermaking and live in the eastern part of Finland, close to the Russian border. I have a daughter and a son and we also have a cat who also happens to be the greatest animal in the world. Just ask her!

In the past, you managed to make Suomi come to a U21WC final, Suomi reach in history 2 U21WC finals but failed to win the gold trophy, how is the motivation to try to make Suomi win the gold trophy in this U21WC?

To be honest, that was then and now is now. In the past we had over 500 managers and now way less than 100, from which only a few are really active. This means the amount of youth pulls has declined drastically and the amount of good youth pulls is too low to be able to be competitive. We'll do our best but with this squad we have no chance to compete from the medals.

A little dejavu here... you will face again in the 1st round Schweiz with a coach that was U21 World Champion, but this time is special because the coach was the guy that beat you in the U21WC final that you managed to play with Suomi, but beyond Schweiz , tell me what you think of your other opponents in the group... what about Österreich and Venezuela? How do you see the opponents of your group?

Funny fact, didn't notice that and also didn't remember who was the manager of Romania at that time. I've been really busy with my work and the small kids at home so don't know the level of the other teams. We played against Venezuela twice last season in the qualifiers and also beat them twice, but that doesn't really matter in U21 level as my team for instance was much stronger last season than it is now. I think Schweitz has the most quality in this group and the other teams are quite even, but at least the difference between the squads ain't that big than it was in the final against vacarul some years ago.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

As already mentioned, our squad is quite weak this season. We are lacking proper defenders and the only decent striker is in bad form. Midfield is ok but all of the players look too much alike.. and our only decent keeper is only 19 years old. So I have to go with Arttu Vasara, our keeper. Behind him there's a huge cap in terms of level.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Suomi as a favorite to win the U21WC?

With no scouting at all I'll go with Romania, Czech Republic and Polska. Don't know who are the managers this season in those teams, but their level (and number) of players is so good that they should do well. Our target is to make it to top two in our group. And then it's up to luck in drawings.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Suomi?

I haven't been coaching any other nationalities and as many know, never had a foreign player in my team (KDT). I've done a lot of work in scouting the players and trying to find trainees for the few active Finnish managers so I wanted to keep up with this work, as I know the players we have the best.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

No scouting done so no comments. Cause I don't know who is in the competition.. but it's really hard to make surprises with small nations in U21 level because of the small number of players to choose from. So I'd guess no big surprises in this edition

Any words you want to tell the community?

It's not fun to mock mr_gabbage anymore as he was a sore loser and quit. And I don't want to tell what his new username is (wink wink for the English users, the bastard is back!) so I'll just mock langhe. He is slaby. über slaby. Amen.

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hello. My name is Dan, I am commercial lawyer, I live in Craiova and I have 47 years.

In the past, you managed to play 2 times the U21WC finals with Romania and win 1 U21 World Cup, you are in the history of this competition as one of the greatest coaches but... why Schweiz? Why not coaching Romania again? What motivated you to make that decision?

Do not forget, I play one WC final for NT with Romania last year, but unfotunately I loose against Hungary :) But, you are right, all that was in the past. Now I looking for a new challange, with another U21 National teams because I want to realize something notable with a team that is obviously far from the possibilities of the Romanian team. So, my mind now is only at Schweiz U21. I wish Romania to U21 team success, but I do not want to train the team for the moment.

A little dejavu here... your first match in U21WC will be against Suomi, against a coach that you face in the past to win your gold trophy, but beyond Suomi, tell me what you think of your other opponents in the group... what about Österreich and Venezuela? How do you see the opponents of your group?

Yes, tought group. theKarsten is a good and experimented coach and this time his team is favorite for winning this group. Time is different now, Suomi seems to have a good potential, Österreich have a good coach, and Venezuela can be the surprise of this group. Anyway, I think Schweiz U21 can pass the group stage.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

I expect for my team to win the trophy, of course :) and every player is important in my system, with all players togheter in this World Cup Schweiz U21 can be unbeatable. When anyone of my players can play in the game, I miss him and I must change the tactical plan.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Schweiz as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Classical, Romania, Ceska Republic, Polska and Italy. Schweiz U21 is not a favorite, but I hope to become a surprise.

What's the difference of be coach of a team like Schweiz compared to Romania?

There is no terms of compare this two teams. First of all, Romania have around 800 users, Schweiz only 80. So, it is totally a big difference.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

I see Slovensko, his level increase a lot last seasons and U21 team have a good coach. Also Brasil, they can anytime produce a big surprise and play a World Cup final.

4th U21WC as coach

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

A young manager who has been playing Sokker for 10 years and leads Austria's U21s for more than 10 seasons :P

Will be your 4th U21WC as coach, You are already a very experienced coach in this competition, does the experience in this case really help in your opinion to solve the strategies? Last edition you make a good U21WC but was eliminated to Deutschland in one of the most exciting games in history, so... this time the motivation is different? Is it time to take a step closer and think about trophies? How do you feel about this U21WC?

Experience helps me to be more relaxed. I know what things I shouldn't do and what should I do. Yes, we lost to Germany with some bad luck, but we have already exceeded our goals and set new World Championship records for Austria.

My motivation has remained the same. We have nothing to lose and we celebrate every point, every duel and every victory. We only have a little less than 50 managers here, and the fact that we can be there is a big surprise when we get through the group stage.

From player material, a trophy would be very difficult, but from my tactics, we can achieve impossible things.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you? And what is the feeling about having to face your country in this U21WC?

This isn't a death squad like the last campaign. All the teams qualified worthily for the World Cup and, as a Swiss, I know the Swiss player material particularly well. Of course I want to win everything with Austria ;) This is a group where anyone can beat anyone. I won't be able to nominate a favourite.

Oh yes, I will hate to have to play against Switzerland, but I still have to do well ;)

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Not this time. Any player can be replaced. We'll find out soon if that's true once we've solved our new goalie problem.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Österreich as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Appointing a favourite has become more difficult, but I think Germany or the Czech Republic will do it again. Romania and Poland were too weak in the qualification. Maybe they'll have to play very differently at the World Cup so that they can get me to change my mind. Seeing Austria as the favourite for the World Cup is just as ridiculous as the probability that wild elephants will be found in Paris.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Österreich?

I really like to build several generations together with my emeritus Superscout. The expectations are very low and I have great freedom to lead the U21. So I can use younger players already, so that they can become stronger later in the important games. I have a lot of personal contact with the local managers and they are very cooperative. So it's fun, although we're getting fewer and fewer.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Did you mean Austria? Then we can surprise ;)

Lithuania could also show surprise potential.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Please people, let's not play on stupid grasses! And I want to see the top goalscorer in the World Cup, who earns his living in my club.

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Im a sokker addict. Sorry but cant write more.

Will be your 3rd U21WC as coach, You are already a very experienced coach in this competition, does the experience in this case really help in your opinion to solve the strategies? And how is the motivation to try to make a good result in this U21WC with a team that have a small community?

Of course the experience helps, but would say that for a good result there are 3 factors:
1. Manager experience
2. Team quality – effort of the whole community involved in player’s training process
3. Sokker engine – the religion thing:)
To bring a small community to the WC is similar satisfaction as for some big community to win the WC, so that way I feel proud, proud…. did I said that I feel proud?

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

For a 20 player community each group is difficult, and when You find in front of You “some” Romania, Spain and Slovakia community You have the clear picture that we are not the favorites to go further from the group.
If we would have some 50 user same level involved community think we for sure would be some opponent to avoid on WC:).

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Our team is mix of medium talented, very good trained players. For me there is no difference who plays and who don’t. Job of each manager is to make best performance with the team, so its my.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC, and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Crna Gora as a favorite to win the U21WC?

I would say there are teams which are favorites and teams I would like to win the WC. To see Czech,Poland and Romania to win the WC I would find boring:).

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Crna Gora?

Its not a decision but need to keep the training program our community achieve during DelP1ero coaching period.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Maybe the question should be:
In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition, and why not:)?
Don’t think there will be some surprise, as I see many good managers in charge of very strong communities. Maybe some surprise result there will be, or some not “top level” NT will reach ¼ final. But don’t expect some surprise in terms of WC winner. Would like to see that Im wrong.

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

(this is for G11) :))

In reality, I am 41 years old and I see in Sokker an escape from everyday life.

Well, România is the team that has the most number of trophies in this competition, and when Romania will participate in the U21WC, it is always given as a favorite in addition to a community that has always been the most demanding to see winning teams, how is it to deal with this pressure and how is the motivation to make România succeed in the competition?

True, the Romanian community has very very hot latin blood, who doesn't forgive the wrong steps. I am supported by important tacticians but also by the sympathy of the Romanian community.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

I don't think that I will have much problems in the group, but Ii think the surprise will be Crna Gora U21.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Romania U21 it's not the same powerful team like in the previous edition, but i have some surprises :4 winger ( are old school !!!)

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see România as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Poland, Czech, Romania and maybe Argentina U21

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of România?

My friends are guilty ! :)))

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Schweiz U21 - Vacarul is the old fox !

Any words you want to tell the community?

okker is a game and will always be a game, a place where we can relax, laugh, train our mind for good tactics and find friends. When we put our personal ambitions over the things mentioned above... everything is ZERO.

Success for everyone and may the best win. (that is me!)

I hope that will be 3rd time of luck ,at last WC we had better result than at the first one

Hard group , Italia and Belgium are favs for first two places

Sadly, at every WC season we have a bit weaker generation squad - small community result

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Srbija as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Like almost every WC - Polska and Czech Republic

In the past, you managed to play a U21WC final with Romania and lost in the penalties to Polska, a lot of time has passed since then, and now you're back to the world of U21 teams, but why België? Why not coaching Romania again? What motivated you to make that decision to come back as U21 coach and in other country?

one was on the list for Belgium, so I put my candidature. Not Romania because of the community.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

All 3 are better.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

I'll finish 4th in the group, because the lack of strikers, and no stars in the team.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see België as a favorite to win the U21WC?

I hope Romania will blow this WC.

België has a history in this competition, be 2 times U21 World Champion, but never win with belgian coaches, was two italian coaches that win these gold trophies, and now a romanian will coach België and could continue this story of foreign coaches who were successful in this country and we see a lot of romanian coaches in this U21WC edition, how good is this for the Romanian community?

0% importance for Ro community.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

No surprises

Any words you want to tell the community?

Winter is coming!

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

Hi Sokker community! I'm a 39 years old man, still fashioned by this game trough the years.

In the past, Italia be U21 World Champion but in the recent years, success passed away from the Italian gate and the team have a big fall in the ranking in last seasons... how do you see this situation and how is your motivation to make this situation change so that Italia can show the sokker his power?

It's true: victory is an old past for our country.
About the ranking, I don't care about it. I played all qualification matches, but the first one, with u20 players to get experience and training for this championship.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

This group is quite hard, but Italy has good chence to. As I can see the players' value, only Sverige is a low skilled team compared to the other teams.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

Actually I have good choice in all positions. But Tosolin is the most important ATT.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Italia as a favorite to win the U21WC?

I didn't look very well to other teams. I will do it after Group stage. As ever, I think best teams are Poland, Romania and Czech Republic.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Italia?

I try to rise the interest of italian community for game and national teams.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Actually I don't know.

Any words you want to tell the community?

Don't worry, be happy! And play sokker with fun and care!

Sverige

Previous appearances: 4
Best result: quarterfinals
U21 World Cup XV result: -
Trophies: -

Coach: manuelmarques
1st U21WC as coach

Hello Coach! Please tell us a few words about yourself!

"I love this game", i play this game for 12 years, last seasons i training U21 Ísland , U21 Misr, U21 Pilipinas and now sweden.

Will be your 1st U21WC as coach, How are you feeling for this competition? A little apprehensive or calm? How is the motivation to try to make a good result?

It's my first WC, I'm calm, maybe because my opponents are stronger and everything I get will be like a surprise.

How do you see the opponents of your group? How do you see your opponents in terms of difficulty for you?

MY opponents are stronger: rank 5º, 7º and 9º. Sweden 45º ohhhhhhhh.

What do you think of your team for this U21WC? Is there any player in your squad that you say to yourself: ''He is too good that when he do not play, the team is not the same''... if there is, tell us.

No, there are no stars, but there are small talents and maybe many tiny stars. I hope.

Which teams do you think are the favorites to win this U21WC and why these teams is the favorites in your opinion, and you see Sverige as a favorite to win the U21WC?

Poland and Romania are always favorites. Sweden can hardly get better than 3 losses.

What made you decide coaching the U21 team of Sverige?

I think that Sweden is worth more than it had happened previously with not qualifying for the last WC.

In this U21WC, do you see any small team that can surprise and get far in the competition? If you see, tell why you think about that.

Small team, maybe Cuba.

Any words you want to tell the community?

I hope to honor Sweden, and the Swedes feel well represented. But I ask you to remember that we are the country with the lowest ranking in the WC (45th) and the second worst is (35th) Việt Nam

Expert Previews

We went behind the opinions of coaches and U21 scouts about the 16th edition of U21 World Cup!

Ortwin (A kind of Adrian Newey as a U21 scout)

What do you hope this edition of the U21 World Cup? After 2 last editions be dominated by the czech team with ostulc as coach, do you believe blackx could do it and make three in a row for Česká republika?

Yes, he can. Even though our squad is weaker than last time and we will have to deal with teams like Poland, Romania and others. I hope luck will be once again on our side.

And Eesti? They have now a czech coach (mison), how you see that for Eesti and he is a favorite to win the U21WC?

You are wrong. Mison is not czech, he is from Bušín. And yes, Estonia can play for medals.

Maybe now is the time for Polska with crisr have more experience as a U21 coach? And about Romania with bunicutza05? What do you think about these two teams in this edition?

These two teams are traditionally the strongest ones. Especially Poland, with their big community. And now crisr is even more experienced than last time...

And how about the South American teams? Woody with Brasil can do it something new?

No. Brazil will be a flop, because Woody is überweak and wrestny. Everyone knows it...except for Woody. :P

What do you think about Deutschland with tsolias this time? Do you think he will come with more motivation this time to try to be world champion?

I think tsolias is always enthusiastic and motivated. Maybe we will meet him in the final match and history will repeat itself?

Do you see a coach who can surprise in this U21WC?

I am looking forward to the match between Brazil and Estonia. I wouldn't be surprised if both teams won this match. I don't know how - but they will manage somehow. You know, they are both "the special ones". :P

Any words you want to tell the community?

Have fun, no stress, it is just a game. A great game played by great people. But the Czechs are the best. :P

GREUCEANU11 (Played 4 U21WC as Coach, finalist with România in the XIV Edition)

What do you hope this edition of the U21 World Cup? Do you believe bunicutza05 could win this U21WC with România? Tell us about your opinion.

First question... this edition of the U21 World Cup I hope to see beautiful matches and I hope to see increasing interest from the sokker community for this competition.

Second question... bunicutza05 is the coach from Romania U21? Are you sure? :P is it a joke? :))
Ok... this edition of the U21 World Cup is special. The elimination phases of this World Cup edition will be played on Christmas days. If bunicutza05 will not drink on Christmas days it is possible to win the World Cup. We will see what choice he will make. He will choose sokker or to drink and spend for Christmas :P :)))

the serious answer... I talked to bunicutza05. I did not like it because I felt he did not have enough confidence. I felt he did not think he could win this World Cup edition. Lately, the interest of the Romanian community for the national team has fallen. It is very difficult to get results without community support. It will be very difficult for Romania to win this World Cup edition. I hope with all my soul to be mistaken, I hope with all my heart that Romania will win the gold

These edition we have a lot of romanian coahes, Morpheus with USA,
bunicutza05 with România, Lord Legolas with België and in the past he play a U21WC with România and lost the gold trophy in the penalties, and vacarul with Schweiz that is probably the most successful coach in Romania in the U21WC with 2 U21WC finals played and 1 gold trophy, the question is... how positive do you see this for the Romanian community in the sokker?

Lot of Romanian coaches... I see one spammer (bunicutza05), one b00t (Lord Legolas) and 2 very good coaches (Morpheus and vacarul) :P :)))
positive... maybe yes, maybe not. I expect other Romanian managers to become coach for national team.
I do not like this question! I don't want to argue with anyone after this interview! :P NEXT...

Maybe now is the time for Polska with crisr have more experience as a U21 coach? And about the current U21 World Champions Česká republika with blackx as coach? What do you think about these two teams in this edition?

Polska and Česká republika... 2 very strong teams.
Polska always had the best players. Many times Polska has shown us that not always the best players make the best team. crisr will make an invincible team? I do not think. The last time Polska won the World Cup had a foreign coach. I believe this is the "secret". I think Polska needs a foreign coach.
Česká republika won the last two editions of the World Cup. It will be very, very difficult to win the third consecutive time. I really like their community and I think they have won the two editions thanks to the community, but at this World Cup edition ... I do not believe in the Czech Republic's chances at this edition

And how about the South American teams? Woody with Brasil can do it something new?

I'm sad because Paraguay U21 did not qualify for this World Cup edition. South American teams usually start the World Cup well, but they drop in intensity to the final.
To the question "Woody with Brasil can do it something new?" I will answer you with a question: what are you going to do on Christmas? are you planning to celebrate or play sokker? :P :)))

the serious answer... I'm looking forward to seeing your match with Lietuva to make a point. After this match I will give my opinion. You are very careful because a very difficult game is waiting for you

What do you think about Deutschland with tsolias this time? Do you think he will come with more motivation this time to try to be world champion?

About Deutschland with tsolias... Deutschland has fallen into a very balanced and very, very difficult group. Magyarország and Hrvatska are very dangerous opponents for any national team. I think who will win this group will end up in the final! :D

Do you see a coach who can surprise in this U21WC?

Surprises can be enjoyable and/or unpleasant :D
I believe that Lietuva and Schweiz will have a very good evolution
Lietuva was in the group with Romania last season and I really liked what I saw in them. Schweiz... vacarul is a very experienced coach at national teams with very good results. I think vacarul can get a medal this season with Schweiz...
Unpleasant surprises: Polska and Romania...

Any words you want to tell the community?

I will back...
Let's keep sokker alive.
Enjoy sokker!
Complaints, send to Greg, wherever he is... :)))

Curiosities

Some curiosities that exist in the U21 World Cup.

The ostulc-Woody era

In the last 5 editions, in 4 U21WC finals Woody or ostulc were present, and in the XIII edition the decision was between the two and the winner was Woody who at the time was the coach of Poland by the result of 2-1.
There was only one edition (XII) in which there was not one of the last 4 editions, the reason? Both were not coaching some U21 team at that time.
But in this edition, ostulc retired as U21 coach, and only Woody continues, this era could have a end if Woody do not reach to play this final.

U21 World Cup XI - Woody plays the final with Switzerland. (losing the U21WC)

U21 World Cup XII - both are not coaching some U21 team.

U21 World Cup XIII - both they faced in the final, (Woody with Poland wins against ostulc with Czech Republic)

U21 World Cup XIV - ostulc plays the final with Czech Republic (wins the U21WC)

U21 World Cup XV - ostulc plays the final with Czech Republic (wins the U21WC)

No changes in the dance of the chairs by the U21 coaches in this U21WC

As incredible as it may seem, this edition will not have coaches who are be elected now to only test the team in the last 2 weeks, all coaches that participated in the last season in the WCQ and friendly matches will participate in this U21WC.

Today the day is not like the others, because today is the day that begins what many people expect, the start of the U21 World Cup.

This is the 16th edition of this competition that has built an immense story in this game we love so much.

In this competition, we have seen many joys, many sadness, many surprises and many fights, we had positive and negative things in those 14 editions that have passed.

But all this has built the story of this competition, where everything starts from the 1st WCQ match.

Of more than 90 U21 national teams that exist in the sokker, only 32 have won the right to participate in this competition, are the 32 most coveted positions in this U21 World.

In this 16th edition, we have 32 teams, where...

25 teams are from Europe
6 teams are form Americas (central, north and south)
1 team are form Asia

And we have 32 coaches, where...

28 coaches are from Europe
4 coaches are from South America

The country where most coaches have this 16th edition is România with 4 coaches.
Italy have 3 coaches.
Czech Republic has 2 coaches.

After a long time, we will have only 1 brazilian coach in a U21WC edition, in the last edition Brazil was the country with most coaches participating.

And all those 32 coaches crave one thing.

Be the U21 World Champion!

Coaching U21 teams is like a F1 race, is not the same car, but also the cars have different drivers and this make things change in the race, and in this case is the race for the gold trophy... who will win in this race? Place your bets.
