Froome went like Contador did few years ago full of dopes.
2013-07-14 16:59:18
I might be just mad 'cause Quintana couldn't win, but that looks extremely suspicious from Froome.

Agreed.

Probably the first clean TDF winner in decennia. If you don't see the difference, you're not a cycling expert. Simple as that.
I admire your naivety ;-)

I might be just mad 'cause Quintana couldn't win, but that looks extremely suspicious from Froome.

Froome is doped, but Quintana who hasn't had a "normal" preparation, is 23 y old, has nearly driven a full season with the pro's and finishes today on 30 seconds after he attacked the whole climb is "normal"?
I saw a bunch of riders behind Froome who will never be able to win a GT (except a Spaniard in Spain maybe ;-) )at their best level. The opposition is just not complete enough and is allready very happy with top 5/top 10.

I couldn't agree more with your second sentence ! If you don't see the difference between Froome VS everybody else you're not a cycling expert. Simple as that.

hope cycling is more clean now...but..you know ;) Froome, experts are saying "he can't be clean" and I think the same...Contador, Valverde and many others with doping affairs behind them...

simply - that's cycling...everytim everybody takes something...
I said 'propably'.

It's discusting how people write him off, just because he's the best. Honestly, i've never, ever, defended cyclists in my entire life. But things have changed, you can see that.

Look at the images of 10 years ago. Compare them to the images of now. Look at Iban Mayo's record time on the Ventoux (Iban Who!) and see how 'fresh' he reaches the summit. He's not even tired! And then look at Froome, who's in utter pain from his performance.

I'll say this one last time: He's probably the first clean rider in ages. Enjoy him.

Ps: and save this post from me, you can use it against me when the time comes that i was wrong!

It was also pretty disgusting how Lance said just 2-3 weeks before the big scandal how he was always clean and "worked his ass off 6 hours a day every day". I think every rider in that top 10 list of any Tour de France works their ass off to get there. There is only 24 hours in a day. You cant be twice as good as everybody else when everybody is near the limit.

Of course there always is a probability that he has genetic advantages over others(taller and lighter than Armstrong for example) and it´s just his best year, but we know how most of these genetic miracles have ended up. You cant really blame people for writing him off. I´d say 10% that he is clean.

Big props for the guy tho, i think 90% of riders cant climb the mountains like that with stomach full of dopes. And indeed cycling is going the right way, you can see that from the performances of other 20-30 guys that finished yesterdays climb in pretty level terms.

Can't argue with that. Nice contribution from your part which seems to sum it all up best.
