1- Who was dead instead of me
And carried all weights of me
In the sky you Intercede for me
My age was lost and (I,You) purchased it
My heart was lost and (I,You) found it
And you opened my eyes (2)
Chorus:-
Oh my God my heart is worshiping you
Oh my God my heart is subjecting to you
Oh a lamb is slaughtered
for me
2- The glory and dignity are to you
And the pomp is sign for you
Your authority frees me
To you are the power and majesty
Than men.. you are more beauty
Your grace changes me (2)
And carried all weights of me
In the sky you Intercede for me
My age was lost and (I,You) purchased it
My heart was lost and (I,You) found it
And you opened my eyes (2)
Chorus:-
Oh my God my heart is worshiping you

2 real classics most Dutch people will know.
The clown
He was just a clown in white and in red
He was just a clown, but now he is dead
He laughed and jumped in the bright yellow light
But under that smile was a sad face
The memory remains about the clown with his smile
He gave everything until the last day
No one knew the pain of his silent sorrow
Because in the end there was no one he left
He lived alone, in a caravan from wood
He was just a clown, his whole life
His hat was too small and his shoes were too big
He was just a clown, but now he is dead
The memory remains about the clown with his smile
He gave everything until the last day
No one knew the pain of his silent sorrow
Because in the end there was no one he left
He fell on a evening, just like every time
The audience laughed loud, but for him it was over
He was just a clown, in white and in red
He was just a clown, but now he is dead
The memory remains about the clown with his smile
He gave everything until the last day
No one knew the pain of his silent sorrow
Because in the end there was no one he left

The small cafe on the harbour
The evening sun falls on streets and squares
The golden sun sinks in the city
And people who disappear tired in their homes
The day is nearly over
The neon sign blinks through the windows
It's drizzling gently on the street
The city seems dead, yet there is music
From a door still wide open
There in that small cafe on the harbour
People are equal and happy
There in that small cafe on the harbour
Money or status don't count anymore
The bar is made of copper, but there is no carpet
The football colours hang on the wall
The gambling machine makes more noise than the jukebox
A beer is not expensive over there
A man is a man, rich or poor, it's warm there
Not 'monsieur' or 'madame', but 'toilet'
But the glass is washed in the brightest water
Yes it is a very good pub over there
There in that small cafe on the harbour ...
World issues are solved forever
Over two glasses of beer
On the edge of a coaster is your bill
Or you have chalked up a tab
The only thing you can get to eat over there
Is a hard-boiled egg
The people over there are just happy
Yes the people over there are still happy
There in that small cafe on the harbour ... (3x)

it's not the same. i didn't post dutch songs :o

That's true. But it are songs that are not understandable for non-Dutch ;) and eventhough I don't like Frans Bauer at all, it still sounds better as that song you posted :P
And no, for as far as I know that song is about what it says, a cafe on the harbour :)
btw, never knew the song is known in so many languages and different versions :O And besides the videos below, apparently also in Finland, Sweden and Cuba. Funny fact, the Dutch song was only 8 weeks in the Dutch top 40 list (Top Chart Hits) in 1976 and didn't made it in the top 10.
anyway ....

I'm not used to the sound of voice I think.
And the lyrics are also perfect for a bar ;) But I do understand what you mean.
