2014-12-02 23:18:59
Age: 31
Coding language skills: various HTML, CSS, PHP, mysql, innodb, also a lot of graphical knowledge CorelDraw, or adobe suite. Many years of SEO and webdesign experience, worked at Google for 4 years in the search engine development team!
Years of experience: over 10 years.
Developed a online game before: No

What do you like to code: I would like to help with coding but also be part of the advertising team and SEO strategy....every game needs to drive users right?

At the moment I run my own company...(more details in private) and I could also offer a hosting server, free .com domains. The hosting would have:
Disk Space - Unlimited
Transfer / Bandwidth - Unlimited
Domains Allowed - Unlimited
MySQL Databases - Unlimited (or any other kind of databases)
Email Addresses - Unlimited

Nice to see this community is doing something constructive!

Qstarw, fantastic, i was waiting for the SEO expert to pop up here, and you did.
Solving two problems at once, both SEO optimisation and Hosting solutions. Thank you for sharing, i add you to the list and return to you with an invite soon. And again, i run other projects with a team in Sweden right now, we are at the beginning, but great to have you also as a contact.

I'm ending Computer Science University in Venice... Does it count? ^^

At the end of my courses i won't be able to code well and deep in any leanguages, probably.

Yes it does count, you could do lighter coding and maintenance. But you should still fill the information like the other coders. Just fill what languages you have used and like to focus on, any experience of hobby projects and so on.

Venice is fantastic, so maybe we all eat lunch there together one day.

Age: 22
Coding language skills: PHP, MySQL, JS, CSS, C, C++, Java (basic level for all of them)
Years of experience: I'm still at university ^^
I did an internship in Veneto region, about an international project as Social Media and Community manager.
Is not about coding of course, but if you plan to create and develop a multiplayer game we'll surely need a focus also into social platforms to increase our catchment area (not as sokker who doesn't care at all about that side :P)
Developed a online game before: Does Tic Tac Toe (multiplayer) count? :D I guess no. I did it too :)
I did some apps for Windows Phone too in C++, but nothing relevant.

I'm looking forward for that launch :D

Sounds cool, I am not sure how much time I'll have, but an evening here and there should be do-able.

Years of experience: ~5 years (Physics-research with a-lot of programming)

:)

It is one of the first "real" games is the SDL-tutorial of sdltutorials.com, at least that's how I came to it.

For me it was first multiplayer game for my previous employer(another social network), after the hype of facebook games.

Hi,
quite a bunch of programmers here :)
As Pieter before, I'm also a little short on spare time, but will do my best.

Age: 27
Coding language skills: C/C++ (experienced), Python (good), Java, QML, OpenGL (beginner), html, css, php, js (basic stuff, learned in 1-2 courses while in uni)
Years of experience: 6 years of work
Developed a online game before: No, I have basically no experience in online applications.
What do you like to code: To be honest, I'm not sure I would like to code :). Until now, my experience is only in developing CAD and 3D visualization applications and I would like to experience the "feel" of developing some online projects. This means that I would probably be like a 3 yo annoying the others with questions, than actually coding (hopefully this phase won't last long). And I always prefer coding something which does not involve a GUI :).
2014-12-08 07:12:24
Do you also need people to think along about the idea? I have no clue about programming, but I would be happy to think along about the principles of the game.

You won't be alone, mate!
I'm gonna be 3 and a half yo! ;)

booghy see PM.

mjakk, right now I'm trying to create a communication platform for the developers first, if we decide to make a game (i don't know yet). If so, there is going to be a forum for the community to contribute with their ideas, and all the help is going to be needed in the future, so i will return to you.
