Japanese Film, a masterpiece of Takeshi Kitano. (well if you are able to stand through the beginning of the film ^^)
Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu (Be With You) Well this film never was synchronisated, if you ask me, it does not matter. Originalversion with subtitels works just fine. An absolute masterpiece. Please do not read the full article if you want to watch the film, it would spoil it.
Earth girl arjuna Anime Series, very deep.
Well and then the films that do not need any explanation at all: Braveheart, The last unicorn, the green mile, Monty Python Meaning of life, das boot, the secret garden, Band of Brothers.

I see that you like asian movies. Be with you was great. But have you seen
Nae meori sogui jiugae (A Moment to Remember) - it's better IMHO. Really a tearbreaker :D
And this one is also great:
