and predator 2!

Danny fricking Glover takes on predator XD

Danny Glover cannot die in movies!
Action comedy leading actors never die...
So surviving is not used in this case.

Well, Danny Glover died in Shooter. He plays a vilain in that movie, but that would still count!
Nice movie btw. ;-)

But that's not an action comedy...
2017-08-26 11:24:26
I don't know which version of Predator 2 you were watching because mine wasn't an action comedy :)
2017-08-26 19:20:47
I actually was referring to the lethal weapon movies...
Predator II is a horror movie, and cause of the unknown actors around Danny, it was pretty obvious that he should live. Horror movies never kill the entire cast.... :-p

yea, I figured that, guess I was a little assholy in my comment :)..

Anyway, anyone hyped for this new "It" movie? Seen trailer, promising..

What did/do you think/thought about the original?
2017-08-26 22:51:34
Watched it when I was, dunno 12, 13 yo, one of the rare movies that scared me (like Fog with Jamie Lee Curtis :).. It has awesome atmosphere, cool characters and story development, only drawback for me personally was the main antagonist in the end even though the ending itself was fine :)

There are few scenes that are stuck forever inside my brain, intro with kid grabbing paper boat, shower scene (I know what you are thinking, you pervs hahahaha), Pennywise waving, that balloon in the library...

And I've watched it recently (2, 3 years ago) and it still has that great vibe somehow :).. It beats 90% of modern horror movies..

Didn't see the new version yet, but the fragments I've seen gave mixed feelings...
Better effects these days, but still.
Never liked the original, though I liked horror movies when I was like 6-12 years old.
I felt it was too stupid, a clown in the sewers... Who the hell wants to look at that.
Never had any affinity with any clown and still don't. For me they're like an unpainted wall. I couldn't care less... :-s
