The market is getting crazy prices this days, and a regular player for a medium team cost to much money. New Players are getting Stuck because is harder to progress with the actual system and they dont stay in the site and become bots.

i think with a Balance or a little "buff" of the academy, the quantity and the quality of the players in the market will increase giving the game more life time.

(srry for my english guys, i know it suck)

Well, i hope you write what do you think about this idea.

Bye!

It could be a good thing

The bigger teams have killed the market and players now go for stupid prices , great for the selling team but ruling out 95% of the player base

Something needs to change as new players have no chance at all to catch up with older users , meaning loads of new players just leave as quickly as they come

Personally speaking , I have been here almost 13 years and the youth system is a disgrace , I've only ever had maybe 3 magical / unearthly pulls in that time . That's totally unacceptable in my eyes and not exactly something that should happen

If the youth system was better , you should be able to train and promote a far higher percentage of better players

Agree, the training system is almost limited to a one position (GK - MID - DEF- ATT) and its hard to pull a younger in the Position you are training, i have a youth academy and i only got one ATT in 1 year... 3 decent players, and the rest is garbage. i have 28 places (idk if i need more or less) but its really hard to pull a good youngster.

It would help if we had any influence on the skill distribution, even if imperfect. So even if you don't get a great player, at least you can get someone you can train a bit and turn into a "middle class" player for the masses :P
I mean, the randomness and scarcity of good youths is bad enough, but on top of it your "at least passable" level junior turns out to be "excellent defending, excellent scoring"... Too many things need to happen at the same time for youth pulls not to be instantly fired.

You can easily have a couple of Your own "middle class" players for the masses with current youth school model.
For example I used 7 my youths in last league match (and get avg. mark > 70) and generally I used probably at least 3-4 my former juniors in more or less every league match in last, lets say, 8 years.

And this idea wouldn't solve the problem mentioned by OP. This would cause that there would be more "good" players. But "good" in current terms and by current I mean without this idea. With this idea some of those players, probably most of them, would be considered as weak players, because the problem are the users and their min-maxing mania. Especially, low league guys who train players. Generally, the more "youth purchase -> youth, but a little older, sale" transactions You did the more guilty You are. At least, that is my opinion. Result of buffing YS would be that the "weak player" bar would just move a little up because there would be more players who can currently be considered good and some of them ultimately would end as weak players.

Well, then it's time to ask greg my money back, because that just won't happen at my youth school :p

Typically the market is crazy because we have less and less new players on market. But less clubs mean less offers and demands, the prices should be equilibrate at term. But thats nots what happen! Prices still growing only because of multi millionaires clubs, because there is a lot of cash in few hands.

This is very understandable: a club can be rich, multimillionaire, in a weak league, have no sporting result, but continue to earn money by playing with a team only for training ("farm team"). It's absurd, but it's sokker.

It's very frustrating, because you can play the sports competition, whatever is your league or level, and you have to spend more and more money on the market to keep or improve a team; clubs that do not care about competitive sports continue to feed their "farm teams" by driving up prices. It was not a problem until we had a lot of players on the market, we could still buy decent players, but now it's very frustrating.
