Subject: GROUP B (SPA/HOL/CHI/AUS)

Your team is very young and your coach lacks the experience, I think.

I wouldn't expect from the players more than 2nd place in group.

...then they're actually a normal, top level team, not a black horse, right?!

Hahaha! I told a friend the same, "how can something be a surprise when everyone is predicting it?" :P
Although it would be a surprise for me: they have some very good players but I don't understand all the hype about it. Maybe it's most of them playing in EPL (I tend to find people overly enthusiastic about anyone doing well in EPL).

As for Chile, I remember this...

And on top of that, they went all-in too soon in the game. There was a friendly match not so long ago, 2-2 with Spain scoring in the last minute. If Chile can play the way they did that time (amazing pressing), they'll be tough for anyone.
Looking forward for these matches, I hope they're fun fun either way! :D

Not winning the group would be a disgrace for Belgium. With this amount of quality, you must win against South Korea and Algeria, and you should not lose the game against Russia.

I don't think it will be age that will kill us, not if you see all the experience of our young group. Our coach might be tactical not the best coach in the world, but he is strong in keeping the group together and maintain good atmosphere which is also of great importancy in such a big and long tournament. I think Germany, Spain and Brasil have the best teams if you only look at overall quality/skills of these countries. We are nothing more then one of the many outsiders.

That's the dive I was talking about :P

I also hope for great games including Chile and Uruguay. They have how people in South America call...garra (right? :p) and I really like to watch such hard work and pressing...reminds me of 1st season with Conte in Juventus, as coach

also both midfields consist of players that can run for hours and at the same time know how to play football, plus the fact that they are accustomed to the weather conditions...yeah, I can see both teams working their way to semi-finals, I can see them losing in the group stage, but I'm sure that their games vs Italy and England / Nederland and Spain will be one of the most interesting at whole WC.

Callejon is the type of player who does not like Del Bosque, he prefers to Mata o Cazorla.

Spain has not had intensity in friendlies after win the worldcup, but he won the European Championship for the second time.
what I dislike is to play cesc, for me it is a EX-player.

You think that Xavi can give more now than Fabregas?
2014-05-27 18:09:36
Chile
Spain
Netherlands
Australia.

Dutch are either top or flop of the tournament.
2014-05-27 18:19:34
I think you should play Casillas, Carvajal, Ramos, Pique, Azpilicueta, Xabi, Busquets, Iniesta, Silva and Mata, and Costa / Llorente.

Fabregas should not go to the World Cup.
2014-05-27 18:28:33
I'm not sure...when he play CM he was at least good and as 'shadow striker' - of course he was average, how can he be good - it's not his position :p.

Your team seems nice. Alba is better than Azpilicueta, but I guess that Azpili is more reliable in the defence.

I wasn't talking about Spain, but about the way Chile played that friendly match. Regardless of what Spain was doing at that time, if Chile plays like that they'll be tough for everyone.
2014-05-27 22:28:44
Holland
Go Red Hot Chili Pepers!
Spain
Australia
2014-05-27 23:00:30
Chile
Spain
Australia
The Netherlands

We will finish fourth.
There is no other country in this world cup with such a weak defence.
Ok, if van Persie and Robben will score 2 times every game, maybe we have a little chance,

I like Chile, i think they will be the suprise this world cup.
The players of Spain are tired, they will not beat Chile.
Australia has better defence than The Netherlands.

I think you will have a big win over Australia. But against Chile and Spain Hollands defence doesn't make a chance..
2014-05-28 10:08:46
I understand what you mean, but playing with intensity Spain generates very tired in the opposite.

My only question is how many games it will cost to Spain into the dynamics of playing with intensity.
