I hope in:
France-Colombia and Netherlands-Belgium and then final Colombia-Netherlands and the Netherlands for the WORLD CHAMPIONS!

Colombia is very strong and play good football. And what next they are playing like team, and nearly everybody is in form, especially James Rodríguez and Cuadrado. Brazil isn't playing too good as most people expected and for me it is also a disappointment...and only Neymar can't do it alone :P

France-Germany...it looks like 50/50 match for me...anyway Algeria shows how teams can play against Germany-with fast counter attacks :) And France has players for that, and aslo has better players like Valbuena, Matuidi or Benzema...

Netherlands-Costa Rica, I hope in easy game for Oranjes, but it will be tough :) in the end it will be decided by RvP and Robben :)

Belgium-Argentina...it will be the most exciting match, attack on the one side and then attack on the other...I hope in that :) it will be about who will be better scoring :D hope in Belgium

I am sorry, but i give Brazil the lowest chance of all these 8 countries to win the world cup.
Neymar is ok, but for the rest they are really not good enough to win.
For you i hope they reach the final because the world cup is in your own country, but don't think so.
Also i hope Brazil is our opponent in Final ;)

You should be sorry, because either you did not think this through, or you actually believe that Costa Rica has a bigger chance to win the World Cup than Brazil.

Seriously, so far none of the teams was really convincing overall, except maybe Columbia. But they haven't played a real "topshot" yet. I think really any of the 8 left can win.

not Costa Rica though :p but all 7 other teams can make it

I did think this through..., i think as many people here and also think not any country did show champion soccer..., but also think Columbia did show the best soccer untill now..., so Brazil is playing against Columbia..., so did think that through very well!

Exactly and Columbia did play a little bit better than the other countries.

Did not tell that The Netherlands are playing well ;)

I agree: I think Brazil will not beat Colombia.

But then again: you said that Brazil has he lowest chance to win the World Cup. That is wrong: Costa Rica has obviously the lowest chance: no way they beat Netherlands, Argentina/Belgium and Brazil/Colombia/Germany/France.

Even though I think Brazil will not make it to the semi finals, I still think Brazil has a bigger chance to win the final than Costa Rica does.

So I stand with my previous comment: you did not think this through, or you really think that Costa Rica has a bigger chance to become world champion than Brazil. The latter opinion would suggest you have a poor understanding of football.

I think you can't decide that i have poor understanding of soccer.
In my opinion Costa Rica has a better chance to beat The Netherlands than Brazil to beat Columbia.
You can have another opinion, no problem.

If Brazil was to play Colombia anywhere else but Brazil I'd agree but I'm guessing the referee will call everything in favor of Brazil :( hopefully not but...
