Subject: Sokker Ranking

SK Ranking Poll

This is an official ranking, so I don't understand why the calculation method isn't described in the rules. Why the secrecy? Also, the news item says it's an Elo system. If that's true any linear formula can only be an approximation. Sokker doesn't seem to use the system of the World Football Elo Ratings either, though.

The points that you can win (or to lose) depend on two things

1.- the difference of ranking between you and your rival
2.- the result of the game (1-0 5-0 4-2 etc)


Maybe the exact method-formula is too dificult to explain for the ones that are not engineers.

When you incorporate the friendly matchs, the ranking permits to value all your players and not only the 11 best .

No link to those clubs?

if there any program or site to see, when the team had the highest rating in sokker, and how high was been?

now we see only the current rating.

so high influence of friendlies at rank is very unreasonable
because of that often happens that teams which are 2divisions lower and have much weaker team have higher rank, more supporters and money from sponsors only because they play with A team in friendlies

Lots of deleted clubs over here BUT

long time ago we were told that supporters' expectations are based on difference in fun club sizes.
Do rankings still count on that or as same as for NTs they are counted on ELO system based on difference in ranking points?

Is it the same for official friendly and arcade matches?
