Subject: Mystery of assistants trainers ..

In Italy there are various theories on their usefullness.
Some support that they increase "main" training.
Others that go to affect the percentage of passed training to players outside trained unit.
Others that influence the number of random pops.
At last there is who says that they only serve to compensate gaps of main trainer .....

It would not be the case to ask explanations to "supreme heads" about role for the assistants trainers and to insert it in the regulations/Faq?

Some support that they increase "main" training.

Last time i read the guide i think it said that the main skill was only the responsibility of the main coach.

Others that go to affect the percentage of passed training to players outside trained unit.

I'd agree with that

Others that influence the number of random pops.

Is that not the same as above?

At last there is who says that they only serve to compensate gaps of main trainer .....

Same as above again.

My understanding is the main coach takes the trained skill. The assistants work as a mutiplier for the main coachs' other skills.

I think the rules say something about it

The quality of both individual and general training responsibility lies mostly with the main coach. The feature that counts most is his individual skills; his general appraisal does not influence the effectiveness of training. Select a head coach who has a high ability in training the skill you have chosen for the individual training. Decide yourself how important for you, are the other coach abilities and if you can afford to pay more for a better coach.

The assistants may be helpful to the main coach improving his training effectiveness - the better the assistant (in terms of general appraisal); the more he helps the main coach. However, do not hire too many assistants. If you hire more than 3, they will argue, resulting in training being less effective, or even lost.

Note that when you substitute a player, they will only receive training according to how long they played in the match. The player must play with the same match order (def, att etc) in both matches in one week, otherwise only the last match they played will count for training (even if you are training pace). The only time when the match order does not count is with stamina training.

Excuse me , my english is not good ...

"Others that go to affect the percentage of passed training to players outside trained unit."
is about the skill trained

"Others that influence the number of random pops."
is about other skills ...

"At last there is who says that they only serve to compensate gaps of main trainer ....."
Many people in Italy say that if you have a "unheartly" main trainer , assistants coach are not useful
(They can only reduce the weakness of the main coach).

From the rules

The quality of both individual and general training responsibility lies mostly with the main coach
and
The assistants may be helpful to the main coach improving his training effectiveness

So whatever the main coach does the assistants will help - both general and individual training

exactly

sometimes it is quite easy to solve mysteries. :)

(...unfortunately, there is nothing written about influencing the players' form. but that is a different story.)

If i understand , rules say that assistants trainers improve individual and general training ...

But , if my main coach is "unearthly" in every skill .....
assistants trainers can increase his skills over "unearthly" ?

Or I'm spending a lot of money for nothing ?

Yes.

assistant can even make the training without main coach so it s not so clear

look at this:

it's a training report when i by mistake didn't match any of my coaches for the maincoach function (alcohol is baaaad... yes, i know ;P)

nevertheless some of my players poped at even quite high level (incredible) so chances that it was only simple general training are low.
my point is that assistants are a kind of multiplier of mincoach skills but they also gives some own input...

maybe the sum they use is:
(main coach individual skill)+(assistant coach general appraisal)
not
(main coach individual skill)x(assistant coach general appraisal)

0+something is something

Very interesting point of view..

hmmmmm

long time ago on polish forum we asked greg is this formula works like sum or like product. he said only that it is something between and he won't tell as any details...

Perhaps someting like:

(main coach individual skill)+(assistant coach general appraisal)*factorX

eg.

16+16*0.1 = 17,6

Perhaps?

he isn't going to tell us everything. all what i know is the higher the better. :)
2009-02-11 23:27:53
true :]

but remeber! not more than 3 assistants! ;)
