imoh NT coaches doing that on purpose like the nicuaraguan coach did should be fined firstly if repeated > banned.

Expected results in Group C, though Moldavia had some problems with Vietnam, too, and Turkey makes it clearer against Bosnie than I thought. Finally we are on top of the group for halftime, but Bosnia on 4th place is only 3 points behind. So still everything possible here. It's gonna be an exciting second leg. :-)

I agree , its sucks and this can be a good punishment , but we dont know if he did it in purpose , someone knows for sure?

i dont defend him but could you imagine you would lead such weak country and had to play almost whole season against so strong opponents that you would not last a chance to make a better result than 0:10 .. it is pretty frustrating

be serious to play againsta top team and get beaten 30+ this was the fate of nicaragua... he made that on purpose it is obvious. hehadn't time it would've been the last week match tactic

Yes , it is , so if he wasnt ready for it than its better he wont run for elections at first place..

When i started in Latvija we had a weak NT as well and i knew in our first seasons of our build up we will get hammered in many matches and i was ready for it , so it is frustrating to be the weaker side in a match you know you will get hammered against a top team , but the sport spirit and fair play comes first always , even if you play for example a defensive tactic , you still showed up for the match to do your best...

And its also frustrating to be on the other side of it when you face a team like that in the WCQ and goal difference can be crucial , our group is still open on paper so it can still come down to goal difference..

Just remember you and ice-t DEFENDING THE MAKEDONIJA COACH when he didnt respect an agreement of a u-23 match and played with absolute NT and Uruguay didnt make it to the 2nd pot in the WC qualification draft. The coach even admited he did this on purpose!!!!!

You should have a coherent speech regarging this attitudes. You shouldnt change your judgement because you think "this is a good guy" or "I dont know that guy".

Rafa_Benitez clearly said he had no other options, Macedonia didn't had no more youngsters and he had to sue some oldies. BUt here is OFFICIAL QUALIFICATION not some unofficial mwc.


And you should prepare well for the match even if your opponenet will field better and older players. take a look at Russia-France match. Russia is weaker but uer 4 guys aged 24 and 2 guys aged 25, france used only 1 striker aged 25, rest are older and still Russia won.



Besides in the last qualification to WC Sweden go out just because there as a team that didn't field any players and Sweden won only 5-0, due to that Slovensko qualified... so this is serious business

unfair result in Belarus-Austria match! Belarus should have won the game but got the goal into its net at the last minute =( the 2:2 draw is disappointing =(

A draw was the right result in this game. Of course it looks lucky because we scored very late. But we had some chances when it was 1:1 but Tarn missed again his chances. Seems he only scores in CC :-(

Both teams used their usual tactics so no surprises on both side. Belarus is very lucky that Heimeroth, Seiser and Standfest all our wingers have very low form. So i couldn't use a winger for this game. Otherwise we would have a better chance to win!

Well Belarus had 5 shots, Austria 4, and you scored a late goal that gave you draw, imho that can be called lucky for Austria
