I played with a team that has surprises each match and that i can become part of it and i like working with the English team

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

I've always wanted to defend my country. It is an honor to be able to represent all Brazilian coaches.

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

The season was only good, with mistakes that left us below first place. We will have a difficult group now.

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

The group has high-quality opponents. All teams can qualify in the first place ... But whoever advances will be strengthened.

Always Romania, Poland and Italy.

Which team do you think has the greatest potential to surprise in this edition?

I believe in the Czech Republic and I also hope that Brazil can also play at its best level.

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

Germany has a great team and a nice community. Joachim Löw (the coach before me) didn`t candidate anymore, so I got my chance.

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

I wasn`t the coach there. We want to play a great tournament, thats clear. For me its important, that I find a good tactic really fast now...

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

Good opponents. Croatia is strong, Argentina too. And Hayastan has some chances to get points for sure too. So my aim is to go through - won`t be easy.

Germany. We want to win the World-Cup the very first time. A great Coach is Lumpaz. So Switzerland could surprise too.

It was rough, lost some points that Hrvatska should not lost and at the end we got through with some nice wins.

It is pretty even group with a little weaker team of Hayastan. I think Hrvatska and Argentina will got through but really if you get a little sokker unlucky or lucky anyone can go through.

Hello! My realname is Maciej and I'm 24 years old. I studying Computer Science and I working as programmer. I was a coach in five country (almost 12 seasons) and It's my third main tournament. Last two WC I was a Montenegro coach.. :)

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

Why? Because it's my country. I made good job with Montenegro and community in Poland gave me a chance. It's a big nobilitation for me.

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

Qualification season was good for us. In WCQ we played very well. We won all matches and we lost only one goal. In friendly matches we played worse, but we tried a new tactics and players. In tournament? We should win a competition :)

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

Difficult teams, but on the same level. IMO Slovensko is the best team in group (without Poland of course). Poland and Slovensko will play in next round.

Qualification was easy for our team, one of the strongest in Sokker. In the last 3 games, we use a few young player who can be the future stars of Romanian National team.

Every match begins at 0-0 and every team who is in World Cup is strong. So, we must to improve constantly our quality in each game and try to win it.

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

I was going to back coaching NT and was looking for a good team. Kouta Tamazaki, previous Crna Gora coach wrote me, that They are looking for good coach. Good team, good coach, nothing more to add, I had to try :)

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

Previous season was strange, we won qualification group (had to add: Crna Gora was 3rd raking team in the group) but played lot of weak games. Plan for this season is simple: be 1st or 2nd in our WC group, but even plaing in WC is a big fun for Crna Gora community. We are going to give 100% in every game and watch what will happen :)

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

Romania.... One of the strongest team in sokker. It's like David vs Goliat (I wish the score will be also good for "David" :P). Latvija & Uruguay - hard to say something. They have similar chances to go through the WC group stage as Crna Gora.

Momčilo Gurović - when in form, our 1st GK - he is only 24yo so could play for NT lot of games. Zelijko Medanovic, 24yo striker who will be the future "killer" in NT games but also few other players. Our NT is strong as a "team" :)

29 years old Belgian guy, yet almost a sokker veteran by now (11.5 years, wtf). Obviously less weak than gibbage, more awesome than theKarsten and ... just read the last line of this interview Borkos, I know you're waiting for it.

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

I don't even remember ... I coached a couple of countries before (Indonesia, Cymru, Belgium, Scotland U21 ... that's what I remember) and had already a couple of runs at Latvija. But as I said, I don't know why I took up the job a first time ... I remember Sharoni did a great job, so did DotheDew ... maybe that's what got my attention for this country :)

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

I could not complain about the form and injuries and suspensions during this WCQ campaign. Some positions barely have decent back up players, so we had some luck there. In general it was a roller coaster campaign. Started with a confident win, followed by a draw against Espana where it should have been 3 points. Worst part was probably the draw with UAE. But in the last 3 weeks we had merited victories over Suomi (4-1) and Spain (0-1) which brought us back to the 2nd position with the last game to be played. We could not wait for Spain's result as we played 1 hour earlier, but had a hard-fought win over Costa Rica to qualify.
Let's hope the team can ride the wave of good fortune for another half a season :)

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

It's quite a surprising group. Romania is obviously the big team, but besides them there's Crna Gora, Uruguay and Latvija. Of the latter 3 teams, the ranks are all out of the top 25 and either one of them can advance together with Romania. And if one of us 3 can maybe surprise Romania ... who knows what can happen then.

Captain obvious incoming. Polska, Romania and Italia (if they get out of that pool of Death) as they're the top ranked teams.

Which team do you think has the greatest potential to surprise in this edition?

Hard to tell. I've spent most of my time on Latvija stuff and had to look who even qualified. There are some unexpected names, but honestly I don't see any team that will make it to the final 8 teams among them. As far as a top 10 team is a surprise, I'd put money on Hellas this time.

Who is at the moment or will be (in the future) the star player of your NT?

Currently it's undoubtedly Osmanis. For the future, it's hard to tell, but Aldins will be a nice asset in this aging NT.

Which of your players would you choose if you could boost his form to superdivine for free?

Eglitis. A striker in superdivine form is still quite overpowered in this game.

If you could manage another NT additionally at this World Cup, which one would it be (sticking with your team doesn’t count)?

Remember that guy who made hilarious tactics (like the arrow) with Eesti? I'd love to do the same with Suomi, to annoy theKarsten.
For a serious effort ... Belgium, it's still my own country after all.

Hello! My name is Bart. I am 33 years old, in SK since may 2006. I could say that SK is a big chunk of my life. On a daily basis I'm an architect. Married 9 years, 6 years happy father.

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

After the break I decided to go back to NT. Why BiH? Because I like NT with character and they have disputes - unused - potential. I think we'll show it in these on World Cup Finals.

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

Initially, the group seemed more difficult. We fought with Greece for a first place, and we won. Now... we've Greece again in the World Cup Finals [last Finals too]. In the elimination - two matches and two draws. We'll see how look it now in Finals, maybe will be a third draw. Generally, I dream of TOP8, this will be my 5th World Cup Finals.

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

Surely Greece, which I mentioned earlier and Finland. Against Greece I've already played as a coach of Venezuela. Later in the last elimination with BiH, and now again. There are no other teams? :-p
The first match with Finland will be crucial. It's important, that not to lose this match. We can not ignore Macedonia, this is nice opponent.

The favorites remain unchanged - Poland, Romania and Italy, maybe Deutschland.

Which team do you think has the greatest potential to surprise in this edition?

I believe strongly, that this will be Bosna and Herzegovina.

Who is at the moment or will be (in the future) the star player of your NT?

At now - Joso Bućan, in future - probably Željko Volarev.

Which of your players would you choose if you could boost his form to superdivine for free?

Nail Omerović, still I hope, that he raise up a form before first match in World Cup.

Of course Poland, my country. I hope we'll meet in Final, which we'll win after goal in 90':-p

Fue una Temporada muy exitosa a nivel personal y de estrategia, trabajamos toda una temporada de amistosos para esto, desde un comienzo nuestro objetivo principal siempre fue la clasificación, desde que conocimos los grupos nos preparamos para afrontar cada partido, sacando números y buscando diferentes planes para clasificar, fue algo duro en los primeros partidos ya que no comenzamos como queríamos pero poco a poco se fueron mejorando las cosas y ganamos los duelos directos que nos aseguraron el puesto.

Son Rivales estadísticamente superiores a nosotros, para este grupo no tenemos presión disfrutaremos cada partido, trabajaremos con el factor sorpresa donde tengo mucha experiencia de juego, trataremos de ser inteligentes y buscar trabajar más lo táctico que buscar el "hombre a hombre". I am Alexnder and I live in Abruzzo, a region of central Italy full of green mountains and protected areas of the Park.
I play Sokker since November 2007, and despite the fact that evolution has not followed the great potential of the game are still passionate as the "first day"!

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

I follow Chile from the time it has earned the semifinals of the world championship and it was at that time one of the teams that played the best sokker.
I like the temperament and the combative quality of Chileans that I feel particularly close to me.
To be the coach of "Roja" for me today is a great honor !!!

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

We have achieved our goal by playing with good quality.
What you have to expect Chilean fans is a tournament where we will leave nothing to chance and we will put all our strength to achieve the best possible goal!

It will not be easy but we will never be beaten before going to the field!

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

It will be a very difficult group in which the qualification will be decided by individual episodes. Certainly the most qualified teams to go to the next round are the Czech Republic and Hungary but we will do our best to occupy one of the two useful places to play the tournament's eighth finals.

I've been playing Sokker for ages. It's quite hard to quit though Sokker is trying to do everyting for that :).

Why have you become NT coach of this country?

Not a popular position in our community. I've been NT coach several times before and once managed to win WC. I like this role, because it is an extra value for the game.

How would you evaluate your qualification season? What can people expect from your country in the competition?

Beginning was rough. Fortunately the second part of the season was more stable and we managed to qualify. Eesti always expects the NT to bring the trophy home :).

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?

Nice teams with decent managers. Everyone has a chance to go through.

Eesti and some other teams with 1000+ users.

Which team do you think has the greatest potential to surprise in this edition?

Argentina. We could not get them in group stage and I believe if their strikers stay healthy they have a good chance.

Who is at the moment or will be (in the future) the star player of your NT?

We have some decent MIDs and strikers. Laud, Tammart & Seppo are nice players. The last unfortunately struggles with form.

I guess Seppo would be one striker we are missing at the moment.

Turkey. They just fail to qualify and I would like to see what's going on :).

qualifying was a bit strange , some games we were strong other games not as good, we need a formation to suit and disrupt other sides in this group, but also need some younger players to make a step up.

Hi, in the poll Who is the only true expert? from the last edition's World Cup Guide the majority of people voted for All the "experts" are überweak and wrestny. :P What are your thoughts on this matter?

I guess you’ve heard about the expression “One rotten apple ruins the whole barrel”. Now 2/3 of the apples were rotten so it’s kinda obvious the community misjudged me too. Other option might be that ms_gabbage was using all his multi-accounts to mock us, because he wasn’t selected as one of the experts. Which is obvious cause he’s even weaker than borkostriplezero.

Tell me 3 teams that are most likely to win this WC and why do you think so.

Polska is an obvious no.1 prospect to win the title after winning their qualification group with an impressive 71-1 goal difference and hitting marks above 85. The quality of the players is still amazing and there is a possibility to pick the players in best forms, an option many nations don’t have as there is only a few top players.

Other two favorites in my papers are Italy and Romania, both big sokker-nations with lots of quality. Italy’s Group (A) is really tough though, so they also need a good start for the WC.

Which teams do you think have the greatest potential to surprise in this edition and why?

Argentina was solid in the qualifiers and it would be nice to see a South American team do well for change.

Suomi is still looking strong and our crazy türk coach might do a miracle with our squad if we manage to avoid injuries.

Latvija has such an überweak coach that in order to avoid bigger humiliation this tactical genius might surprise us by giving three walkovers. We’ll see..

Three teams from the first pot (Bulgaria, Spain, Turkey) have not qualified for this World Cup. Is it a trend or just a coincidence?

It’s a tough one. I’ve never really gotten the ranking system in sokker but on the other hand I’ve never really gotten the FIFA-ranking in real life either. I’d say the best ranking system would be somewhere in between of those. FIFA-ranking is too much based on your last few games but sokker ranking is too slow to develop. If you manage to get your team in the first pot it takes you several seasons to drop to the third pot.

So, in my opinion the pots don’t mean much apart from the few top teams who are always there and will always be. The quality difference of the teams ranked let’s say 6th to 36th is quite small, so this kind of phenomenon will happen in the future also. Some qualification groups are always much harder and some have just two clear favorites. In these groups where you have 3, 4 or even 5 good-enough teams to fight for the two places in the sunshine, anything can happen.

Latvia led by väinämöinen defeated Finland and qualified for the World Cup. Is their coach that good or Finland that weak?

As stated many times, langhe is langhe. Väinämöinen is the He-Man of Kalevala, the Finnish national epic. Finland can’t be defeated by Väinämöinen, that cheap Belgian pirate copy should change his user name to vilpu or something more truthful.

That being said, I believe all the users in sokker, both current, ex-users and the incoming ones know that he is no good. Latvija has good players so it’s not weak to lose to Latvija, but to lose to him, that’s shameful. I honestly don’t know what our coach was thinking, for instance he used two players with a slight injury in that game. Would be nice to meet them in the playoff round and kick langhe’s butt big time, but unfortunately for the Latvijan community langhe can’t make it to the playoffs..

Two seasons have passed since the last World Cup Guide so I hope you all have learned one lesson during those 32 weeks. There is only one true expert writing here and that’s me.

It’s always a pleasure that someone is willing to spend so much time for the community to make these guides, so I advise everyone to read this through and write a comment or two, just to show that Ortwin’s effort is appreciated! And maybe to make fun of the other "expert".

And the classic: stay with us! Let’s keep the game rolling, this is by far the best on-line manager game available and we should keep the forums alive. I suggest the readers to either use old layout or to have oSokker installed - the guide looks much better then. Evil borkos has not delivered his answers yet - let's hope he is not afraid to face theKarsten!

Armenia defeated Croatia, wow! And Romania crushed by Montenegro??

In the first match the Czech republic emerges victorious, but Hungary was a tough opponent. Good game.
