Before a while, I wrote an article about it on a greek page, because people got confusedwith the information presented on "help"-section. Here is the translation of this article, about how to remove players:
Step two: Deleting players
I go to where it shows my players (by clicking on players and selecting players).
In the order I write them down (1) select the All players group, (2) click on the one that shows me the archived players and (3) click on Update Update.
To delete someone from the NTDB, he must first not belong to any Squad (look at Players-Manage Squad), he must be in the players that are just in the archive.
To do this first step (which I skip if it already says archived) I click on the red flag to the right of the player (almost at the far right), where when I just have the mouse over it, it throws up send this player to the archive.
As soon as I send the player to the archive, the page reloads without showing the archived ones.
This is where if I want to delete them from the NTDB I have to hit the number 2 show archive button again and wait a few seconds for the page to reload.
Deleting a player: go to the right of the player marked ARCHIVED and click the last box. Click the corresponding box and click on any other player marked ARCHIVED and delete them from the NTDB by clicking on submit.

age update is done same as form update...or better to say if you do "form update" base updates also the age...
