This is so weird, my player, got injured last Wednesday for 15 days. He is 25 yo, and Saturday he is still in 14, is this normal?

I think when the player is injured his initial injury days is always a whole number, so 15 days injury means exactly 15.000000 days and is showed as 15 days to users.

When there is an injury update sokker substract a random number from injury days, on average it should be 1, but can vary a lot (I don't know the exact range, but based on how it works for stadium construction days I think it can be at least anywhere between 0.3 and 1.7, maybe it even goes from 0.0 to 2.0 with values close to edges being very rare)

But there is a catch: when injury number is not a whole number, it gets rounded up, so if after 3 days it shows 14 days left it means that real value (stored in sokker database) is anywhere between 13.000001 and 14.000000. That's why after the first update injury days often don't go down - because randomly selected number was lower than 1, that's a 50% chance.

Back to our case: In three days we see that the injury days were lowered for something between 1.000000 and 1.999999.
Is this impossible to get 3 injury updates adding up to less than 2? No.
Is it very unlucky? Yes.

I think you are right, but the number of injury days subtracted doesn't tend to 1 always. It depends on the age:

- For middle aged players it tends to 1
- For younger players it tends to a number slightly higher than 1
- For older players it tends to a number slightly lower than 1

That's what I've experienced so far and that's how it worked when you could see the exact decimal part of the injuries in the xmls time ago :)

I wish I lived in these old times with decimal parts in XMLs. :P Would make my life easier :)

I'll try to verify what you wrote, I have data about ~2000 fresh injuries from today. I'll check tomorrow how many % will go down a day in younger and older populations. :)
