Subject: Since when do you play Sokker?

First team here, i get really addicted to it!

I must say: I am in love with the new trainning system.

But where is the marketing, devs?

How did you get to know sokker existed in 2020?

Because of my uncle, As roma (javi77) i know sokker since 2005 but i never care about it

Marketing is just on us for now.

I'm 23. I am sure the future of this game has to go via app. The more they delay it, the worse it will be. It's so much easier to retain players and make them stay in the game.

The base of users here is suuper small! I was told there used to be 30-40k players and now only 10k. A miracle the game is still on...but not understandable what they have been doing in 2010-2022 in my opinion.

It used to be even 60k. But that was years ago when such games were still popular, today they are not.

Hattrick went from over 1 million users to less than 200k today. So they lost over 800k users in less than 10 years.

Owners tried creating an app-game like sokker, it totally failed, nobody was interested, even people who play here. It's not the type of game for mobiles, it's too slow, you can't "play" when you want, there is a weekly schedule, there are no micro-transactions to make a profit. They would also have to invest A LOT of money to promote the app version and IMO they would just lose money. And they don't have the money anyway it seems, they have slowed down the changes drastically in last months, there is almost zero contact with them etc.

An app would be a nice addition for already existing browser players, but I don't think that it would be an app-game success. It's a game mostly for old people.

2009/10 was the peak for sokker but it went down very fast.
In 2013 the user number went to 28k already, so they lost more than 50% users in 3 years.

But these numbers were always weird, they sometimes didn't clean up the game of old teams...for example:

Probably a short marketing action that brought some "empty" users that were not deleted for months...

@borkos - again you're searching for discussion ! I remember you as a spammer in the early days, i guess you're now all grown up :)

The app was great idea despite there less than 100 users was fun . I left there cause was not able to login ..
If was done properly with support I would still play @borkos why again you come in topic with long unrelated post ...

That's what he's been doing since 2005, so it's well related to the topic. ;)
