What is the best possible youth talent from the school if you have an Unearthly Youth Coach? I am sure there is probably other topics on this but I couldn’t see any. In my head I am sure I remember 3.18 but I’m not sure and that maybe is a bit low?

There´s no a number that is 100% Checked out, some guys believe is 3.14, others said 3.33 (i think is not) but i guess nobody know´s it 100%.

Somewhere in [3.00, 3.11111...] range

In 2009 (before the "level estimation" was added) Gaudin had youth with this progress: 6 7 7 7 8 8 8 9 9 9 10 10 10 11 11 11 12 12 12 13 13 13 14 14 14 15 15 15 16, which is only possible with talent better than 3.11111.... That's the best data on max talent I have.

It's pointless to try to guess max talent from youth progression data after the "level estimation" future was added.

I believe 3.0 would be the best achievable if everything aligns perfectly (best coach possible and best youth talent possible). Why would anyone bother programming the best talent to be 3.14 or any other decimal number?

Because talents are not saved in that format in the database, calculations are done on different numbers. Skills are stored in 0-100 scale in sokker database. Most likely talent is also stored in sokker database in 0-100 scale, where 100 is the best, that's a number that sokker calls "talent" internally.

What users call talent (I will call it here user-friendly-talent) is the inverse of the weekly skill progress in youth school (with levels in 0-18 scale). But that 0-18 scale is only for display, in database skills are in 0-100 scale, so to get that 3.00 user-friendly-talent, you would need the formula to produce 1/3 * 100/18 = 1.851851851... progress, which isn't really a nice number.

Maybe they made it so it is exactly this number when you plug max talent (100/100) and best coach possible (which is actually 90/100) in the formula. Maybe not and for example the max weekly progress for youth is something like 1.8, which would make that user-friendly-talent a ~3.08 value.

I did something on this a while back

If max talent is 3, and max youth starting point is 7.2 then the max end point is 18.53
(34 weeks at .333333, for 11.33 gains from 7.2)

If max talent is 3, and max end point is 18, then the max youth starting point is 6.67
(34 weeks at .333333, for 11.33 gains. 18-11.33 is 6.67)

If the max end point is 18, and the max starting point is 7.2, then the max talent is 3.14
(the math is a pain but it works out at .3175 of a level per week, which translates to a talent of 3.14)

So which "established" Sokker myth is wrong? Or is it all of them? ;)

A) Max talent is 3
B) Max level is 18
C) Max starting point for youths is 7.2

Best talents according to junior coach level

I had recently this junior and it looks like his youth talent is 3.0. He stayed for few weeks on level 5 after entering school and get to 12 4,5 weeks before end.

I know that with new system we will never be 100% sure of the talent, but this junior was closest I had to 3.0 in new school system

All of this could be wrong, but ultimately, it doesn't change much for any of these points.

With everything maxed out, at the end, the most important will be distribution of skills.
Then, talent 3.14, 3, or even 3.2 won't change anything for seniors.
