summ skill / 3.14 = real junior lvl?

So which "established" Sokker myth is wrong?

None of them need to be wrong, a simple solution is - if youth gets to superdivine skill before the end he will stay at superdivine and get no training at this point. Just like regular players get no training in a a superdivine skill.

If you were coding the game, would you code training to exceed the player limit so that the last 2 weeks are wasted? That would seem amateurish to me.

My sense is that max talent isn't 3, because that was reserved for Divine coaches if they ever wanted to bring them in.

Of course none of this is verifiable, especially not with a system that estimates levels. You'd need 100 weeks and a linear progression to actually guarantee 3.00.

As for the 3 on the other page, it seems highly likely that he's not starting from 5.0.

No, but for example I also wouldn't write the distribution lottery the same way it is written. Which is a thousand times bigger problem than wasting a little bit of training in extremely rare cases.
So I'm not surprised it seems to be a possibility. I'm pretty sure max entry level is 7.20 and that data indicates that talent can be lower than 3.14 you calculated.

You'd need 100 weeks and a linear progression to actually guarantee 3.00.

Actually would take ~300 weeks to get it to 0.01 accuracy, as you need ~100 pops for that :P

Anyway... i have this lazy guy...
Talent: 3.1~3.2 certified ✓

After how many weeks? This site is not very reliable to be honest with those "certified" claims...

this guy's estimates tend to be considerably off, in my experience.

I agree, his progress is not so good as i expected. Even thought I have an 16+15+15+15 trainers.
While he was on 100% training of PACE it took him between 4 - 5 weeks to pop up... I have seen better. ;)

4-5 weeks in pace? at which levels?
2025-08-20 14:39:18
the ys progress in this case seems to be pretty accurate after so many weeks in YS. so below 3.33.
Do you know the level of youth coach? Was it magical or unearthly?

the weird thing, and again this is very limited subset I looked into when i was buying my future team a couple seasons ago, was that some of his estimates were high (as in, worse than actuality). Some were accurate.

Essentially, no better than anything we had previously. For me, Gaston's chart is still the closest thing to a gold standard we have - as far as I know.

That's a good question. So the real junior levei would be L/3,14?

And how about the distributtion? Is ir the same chance a junior can be 6 or 4? Same chance to be 3 or 7? Is there a distribuittion of probability?

from 10 th level to 16th level. :-)

He is still magical.

Thanks for all your answers above, I actually had this youth come out myself who was in the youth school 21 weeks. His talent 3.09 was probably the best I have seen since I used programs to track it etc.

And you ask how many weeks ? Just follow the talent link.

In this current junior case, prediction accuracy was 93% and gm tools give the exact same talent result. It may be a poor talent, but it s by far the least probable.

Sktables 's "certified" is much more a guarantee (against fake levels screens) and never claim 100% accuracy talent (until it's really the case). Calculation results are usually far close to any others linear regression tool after few weeks. Plus, it's provides talents range and accuracy result, so it doesn't claim so much compared to others (tools, and guys !)

Use a better tool for you, fine. But please, stop talking about things you don't use or can't read.

Still great btw ;-)
