You have to understand that when you took the responsability to become part of the Sokker staff, you basically quit to have personal opinions.
The truth is, you are pulling that out of -OK, let's just say out of nowhere :P
Staff members, and in particular moderators, are just in charge of enforcing Sokker rules, and actually can't impersonate the developers in any way. Moreover, moderators don't even enforce Sokker rules in general, but only forum rules. Their duty is to ensure that communication in the forum falls within Sokker rules. And of course they can still post about whatever they want, they just need to be especially compliant with forum rules (but whay wouldn-t they say whatever they want within the rules?).
Thinking that a mod speaks officially for the game when he says "you are free not to stay" is like thinking that a security guard at a mall speaks for every store in it if he says "you are free to leave the mall if you don't like it".
Just no.

Apparently yesterday = all the time :P
The truth is we didn't have one of these in a long while, and somehow it actually seems natural for the frequency of server crashes to decrease when the number of users / site traffic decreases...

Your example implies that the customer wants to leave and he's asking permision for it, which doesn't have anything to do with out case, where the customer is asking what's the problem with the site, he doesn't give any sign of wanting to leave/quite playing.
The situation here is more like a customer wanting to know why is a flood in the mall, and the security guard recommend them to leave if they don't like in there.

Why do you think that a developer has to take care of customers? The developer job is just an execution position, not a customer relation service which includes the moderators team. Who is the first line of defense? Being a moderator doesn't resume only on appling the rules, but to keep a positive attitude towards the clients they work with, the clients are content creators in our case, isn't the job of those who police the content on the forum, to keep a positive relationship with the users who create the content? Even the cleaning person would stand up for the company he/she represent.
Just no.

Wait... why did I said every time? I think it didn't work for me few times couple of days ago or something. And also I'm getting some bugs with sokker.org, online.sk.org is working fine I guess. Anyway osokker doesn't work for me anymore and I'm angry with this but I lost hope. I was a tutor for a while and did pretty decent job so I have the right to complain about the game. I wasn't just some guy who took sokker benefits for free and now is unhappy, I bought plus for a year 3 times and did tutor work for a year (sent hundreds of emails to new users) and Lithuanian community helped to translate sokker manuals. Yea I am the negative kind of guy but sokker is no fun anymore. I was really optimistic about those old bugs being fixed one day and engine brought to a whole new level. Game could have brought millions of profit but it never got the right investments. And you say sokker used to crash a lot year ago....I've heard a lot of complains that NOW when sokker crashes often transfers are NOT delayed. Not this time but when it crashed for 1-2 hours people bought players for 10% of their value and nothing was done ! what about that, huh? you think I am pessimistic only because of myself? yea prices are down and I've been burned in the transfer market but what about all the people who invested in this game? It's not fair just to squeeze the last drop without saying anything. My mood is a bit down cause I realized bugs will never be fixed now and all my work is for nothing.

No. My example implies a customer complaining he doesn't like the place and the guard telling him he can go to another place if he prefers to.
Or whatever, the point is not what the customer says, the point is the lin between devs-mods and stores-guards! They just don't speak on behalf of them all the time. Period.
The developer job is just an execution position
There are a bunch of Polish guys which happen to own and run the site, which we call "the devs". You are missing the point again.
Being a moderator doesn't resume only on appling the rules
Being a moderator resumes in whatever task the owners of the site defined it to be. They created the role with whatever purpose they saw fit, simple as that. When you create your own site, feel free to define staff positions and role whichever way you find it more convenient, within that site.
I've been both a mod and an admin in Sokker in the past, and I remember what my role was and what wasn't. And speaking in the name of greg and co. all the time was not part of it.
So, when Din0 speaks, he speaks for himself, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

I wonder if is someone here who has a job or know the pyramidal structure of a company, and the conduct of staff members towards the clients of the business.
A software developer is a person concerned with facets of the software development process. In short developers "make software for the world to use."[1] Their work includes researching, designing, implementing, and testing software.[2] A software developer may take part in design, computer programming, or software project management. They may contribute to the overview of the project on the application level rather than component-level or individual programming tasks.
That's why you call them devs, btw, they are not front office employee, it would have been unusual to see them involving in the customer service, as you all complain for years.
And again, you're example doesn't have anything to do with our situation.
Sokker is a rotten apple, red and shiny outside, but inside rotten to the spine.

I can't believe how hard it is for you to understand something so simple.
This site is the private property of some dudes. Those dudes appoint some people to help them with some tasks, and those tasks only.
Those are cold, hard facts.
We call those dudes whatever we want, it doesn't change what they actually are in any way.

Do not put so much effort in it. It is not worth it.
Let use this thread for questions about sokker again. Is better i think.

I don't understand all this whining. If you don't like the game, don't play it. Simple as that.
A player is lined up as DEF in his team and as MID in the NT. Does his training get affected or is it ok?
He will not get extra training for NT. Last match count for training.
--
As far as i know... not 100% sure...
thursday CC match MID
Saturday International match DEF
Sunday Competition MID
He get 100% training on def because the training for the thursday match will added.
Withouth the CC match he will only get the sundayminutes.

No it is not like a guard at a security mall saying to a complaining customer he can leave if he doesnt like it, its like a security guard at the mall saying to a customer going around and telling everybody else in the mall they should leave and the mall is bad, that he can leave if he dont like it, if it were a mail written to staff, then your example would be correct.
Although they as staff members should handle it otherwise nonetheless.... the users complaining about sokker should be handled with tolerance and patience by the staff, that is a part of being an official of the game, whatever ones opinion is, if the user is going over some line, they should instead delete his post.... if sokker staff dont want to represent sokker from their user account, they should ask Greg to create moderator, admin, tutor and promoter accounts, that they login from seperately and do the tasks they are assigned to do, and not having the stars on their club page. As long as the stars are on their club page, it will always been seen on from a big part of users, as if their opinion is official... but i can understand perfectly well the staff, because there are a lot of public complaints, which is devastating for the atmosphere in here...

I think in your example he will get only the sundayminutes anyway.
