Subject: Math problem!
Its no program, its a mathematical term.
I have another solution, try to google the sum.
I have another solution, try to google the sum.
Whatever x € R*, tan (arccotan( x)) = 1/x ... Then if you squarre each part, and replace x by 1/2, you find that :
tan²(arccotan(1/2) = 2² = 4
tan²(arccotan(1/2) = 2² = 4
I´m afraid that not correct because the right answer is one of these five. a. 4/3
b.7/4
c. 5/3
d. 7/3
e. 5/4
b.7/4
c. 5/3
d. 7/3
e. 5/4
The solution is 4/3
arcot(1/2) = 0,463647609
2 * 0,463647609 = 0,927295218
tan(0,927295218) = 1,33333333 = 4/3
arcot(1/2) = 0,463647609
2 * 0,463647609 = 0,927295218
tan(0,927295218) = 1,33333333 = 4/3
But how can i write it down with out using my calculator?
You'll probably have to use the trigonometric relations (e.g. tan = sen/cos). That's probably the way to go, but I'm too lazy to write it down. I'd have to review my math books before.
say u got the values from trig tables..assuming u have trig tables.
mite benefit u to be able to use them too.
basically get arccot of .5
x by 2
get the thingy of that answer.
someone above has the values. i dont have a calculator handy (yeah google but meh it can be confusing sometimes trying to phrase it right)
there is no way of actually working out the values at the level of maths ur studying. theyre all just standard values that have been wonrked out before and you take for granted are right :)

Same here. Though it was one of the easiest things at the 'higher' level of maths to learn :)
