Subject: Computer Problems

by the way, the game allways works fine when i reinstall it, that's not a problem at all, it just doesn't work anymore when i add a mod or a patch..

Some mods are made for 1.2 game version. I dont know what mods are you trying to instal, but you should read coments and description for what game version it is designed. But if original game works, thats not a big problem, you wont find anything superb in these mods, i tryed a lot of them and i always come back to original after some time, and i remeber i had problems whit most of mods after using some time, they are unstable..

The mod i used was indeed for a 1.2 patch, just noticed that too. So i'm going to install another mod, made for the 1.5 version. Hopefully it will work..

Anyway, what i want mostly is adding of extra cities, that would allready be great :)

let us know how the new plan goes anyways :)

id agree that the mods you are using arent for the correct version of the game. dunno why they make so many versions of things!
could also be that the mods are made so that they only work if installed in the default directory. maybe u changed it on original install.. mods are usually made by ppl who dont think around problems that might occur ;)

Well, i installend another mod (barbarorum), and this one seams to be working fine. :)

Apperently the gold edition is indeed upgraded to 1.5, and i guess my mistake was that a downed the realism mod made for a 1.2 version, and not the 1.5 version.

But thanks a million for all your help, it was really useful!

Maybe some of you can help me solving this problem :

I have a laptop with azerty keyboard which suddenly refused to type "b" when I use the B key. Instead, it types a "," or a "?" (with caps on).

Any clue to recover my "b" letter ?

Thanks in advance.

type OSK in comand promt to open windows on screen keyboard.

then try typing B. if you can it's a hardware problem and your keyboard is broken, i you cant either i will send you a guide to restore default keyboard.
good luck!

I managed to open the screen keyboard (didn't know such a thing existed), then was able to type a "B" and a "b" with the right key on screen.

already tried alt+enter to change the language to correct one?:P

It's not a matter of language.

By the way, it's alt+shift to switch keyboards :p
