Subject: PC Games

Hello people, there are only topics about online and flash games, and noone about classic PC (or console) games. I'm adding also poll, which can be changed as needed.

Now I'm playing great game GTA IV. You all know it. It's really cool, and very funny game. I've read somewhere, that R* would like to set next title of game in Europe. It's step forward I think. It will be boring, still play New York - Miami - Los Angeles - New York - Miami - Los Angeles... Also another american city is not a good choice, all of them looks same (high buildings in centre, dirty ghettos outside). No offense americans, but it will be boring, Europe has much more to offer now.

If this will be true, I think there are 2 possible candidates for GTA V - London & Paris. London has already been in GTA series (GTA London 1969, datadisc to original GTA) and I think and hope, the better choice will be Paris. It's more beautiful, and is still more offen used as backround in movies and games in last years... Just try to image that police chase on Champs Elyseés Avenue, mhmmm :) Or killing some manager on La Défense, steal Mona Lisa from Louvre, view from Eiffel Tower, disposing dead bodies in Seina river. It will be a great game. And developers do not need to "invert" traffic, as we all know in England people ride on left side.

There are maybe some other candidates, biggest one from them are Moscow imho, but it has much lower chances then London and Paris, and in group of other cities are mosty Prague or some italian cities as Rome, Naples or Palermo on Sicilia. Maybe even Vienna, who knows?

What do you think? In which city will be GTA V settled? And in which would YOU like to play it?

I doubt any GTA in history will be set in Croatia, be little bit more realistic, it has to be some big and famous city ;) But I realize, it is your wish, to play this kind of game in your own city.

If the next GTA will be in Europe I think that will be in Russia or Italy beacuse there's mafia.

Hmm yes, I also think they would choose London, Paris or Rome. Or maybe a little bigger world and more than one city.. Would not be expected too much when you look at the world in current RPG-games. ^^

I would also like Paris, but I am not quite sure if US is ready for such a game in France. Well now they have Obama as president, so maybe also their prejudice against France will go away a bit. Italy or London still are probably more likely.

I don't know that there is som prejudice against France in USA... Why? And GTA V will be release soonest at 2010, so there is enough time to make technology such good to handle big GTA world. But I think, GTA V will be only in 1 big city, like now New York, but much more bigger, and more interactive (higher % of builidings which you can enter). Really hope they set it in Europe, it's about time.

Those thung about freedom fries instead of french fries, not really enemies , but i dont see Paris in GTA as a game been sold massivle in Usa, imo :)
