Hey guys,
tomorrow i am writing a class test in maths. i don't know how you call them in english but i write about functions with exponents, etc.
1) Whats the easiest way to find out the horizontal and the vertical asymptote ? how can you recoggnize them?

I were ten years ago. :-p
No, my question is : about my answer, is it what he wants to know ?

horizontal: Bild lim(x->+-infinity) and take the value
vertical: see where the function isn´t defined (where the denumerater is 0) and take that values
vertical: see where the function isn´t defined (where the denumerater is 0) and take that values
lim (x-->inf) (exp(-x)) = 0 is the explanation for the horizontal asymptot y=0
lim (x-->0) (exp(-x)) = inf is the explanation for the vertical asymptot x=0
lim (x-->0) (exp(-x)) = inf is the explanation for the vertical asymptot x=0
lim (x-->inf) (exp(-x)) = 0 is the explanation for the horizontal asymptot y=0
lim (x-->0) (exp(-x)) = inf is the explanation for the vertical asymptot x=0
i think tihs is it :) thanks a lot to all !
but here are some questions:
if a "fullrational" (sry dont know the word) function has one zero point, then it has got more zero points.
---> not really, because a function with f.e. x³ has only one zero point ?
there is no fullrational function of 3 grade without zero points. right or wrong ?
---> no because there could be a function that is only above the x-line.

youtube make limits for uploading videos, they set it on 10 minutes max.

Easy solution:
Find some University in USA that has this book
write to them that you really need it and can't get it
they will most probably scan the book and send it to you
I know 2 people that had such problem with quite rare books and they were helped, one by the Uni of California, the second one - don't remember

scanning books is illegal ... it would really surprise me if decent universities did this kind of stuff.
It's not illegal for educational purposes if I'm not mistaken
