do u prepare it with cardamom? and i thought it's already boiled together with sugar.
still, i don't put sugar into coffee from coffee machine, it only ruins the taste.

its only coffee and water, sugar and milk are added in fildžan :D
after adding boiled water to the coffee in džezva, it is also needed to put džezva on burner and wait to get more foam.
Also some people use this to ground coffee, because they like it that way.

more foam... i wonder how to get bigger crema on my espresso. is it matter of pressure, temperature, water or coffee grinding.
italian coffee u mean espresso?
i usually drink 1 or 2 espressos and one lungo per day.
and no, it didn't become a need (i can have a coffee and go to sleep ;/), it's surely a pleasure (friend bought me a big pack of beloved sant' eustachio from rome)
by the way, which is the most popular coffee brand in italy? edit: or rather considered as the best
coffee is like a religion in italy (you know, italians for food and beverage... you just can't understand the importance and attention we pay for them..).
Whatever I say another italian will say it's not..

PS: coffe doesn't affect sleeping, but excitement.. unless for placebo effect!

One of the things I love in Italy is your way of socialising
People meet in the morning, read a newspaper, drink coffee and talk with eachother
In Poland there aren't such places to drink coffee...you know, in Italy it's how much, 1€ for coffee? Or 1.3€ for coffee and croissant? For you it's basically nothing
Here we mostly have big-chain coffee places, like Costa Coffee or Starbucks
They are expensive and there isn't this kind of 'family and friends' atmosphere

I know somebody who would, but he would also say gib mony.
to drink coffee (but to drink or to eat in general) is a social matter for us.
ok, so what about veneto :P?
i actually meant some, let's say, major brands like kimbo or pellini or whatever.
