I am planning to get a motorbike... well, a Scooter, but I am completely a bike noob
I wanted to get a Vespa initially, or something with that retro, quadraphenic look to it... but then I found this:

For just under £900, brand new, Can anyone tell me if you think its too good to be true?

I drive a motorbike but this scooter is not realy my speciality.
However, I was told that the difference between a scooter like this and a Vespa is huge ! A Vespa has a lot of metal in it and other brands usually are plastic. Also the motor of a Vespa is very good (yet Italian, go figure) compared to others.
But Vespa is expensive.....
Have fun driving.

It is always better to make a test drive with it, sometimes a bike looks nice but it just doesn't fit you. A Vespa should always be a good choice imo. You can also learn a lot about mechanics specially if you drive an old Vespa ;-)
I prefer motor bikes. However, if I had to choose a scooter I'd take this:
A mate of mines bought a scooter from that website mate
He had it 2 years and had no bother whatsoever , if i remember correctly he paid about £850 , then sold it for £500 after 2 years

I have a Honda Dax from 1993, dax's keep their value really well!
bought it for €1500, and i'll probably be able to sell him for the same price :)

I was about to say Dax says a lot about you ... but yeah, you drive a Mini ... so even without Dax we knew enough :p
That doesn't make his statement less true :')
I just past my motorcycle test!!! I own a now road-legal Vespa PX 125!! :D
I am, driving a 125cc aswell right now.
Honda CBR125R '08 currently. (Cost me €1700) But if I'd sell it next year, I'd still get around €1500 I guess.
Next year might change for a bigger one, but havent made up my mind. In coming years I'm planning to buy Yamaha R6, as I freaking love this bike.
