Yes. you´re right mate, but during the pontificate of John Paul II., Ratzinger was head of former Vatican inquisition office in which agenda was to inhibit this southamerican "freedom theology" stream. In light of this fact, I can´t imagine, he resigned to vacate chair to representative of this Catholic stream...

However there are 3 serious candidates, 1 from Canada, 2 from Africa and I am afraid, they are going to elect black pope and Malachy´s Prophecy of the Popes will be completed :) I am not such a fool who believe in any hoax and other online shit, but have you ever seen such exact prophecy for almost 900 years forward?
