Two trailers of an amazing animation, showing Warsaw in year 1935, before it was completely devastated by the 2nd World War. It was basically demolished, there are almost no building that have been constructed prior to the war.

Starts from 1:06

Seems amazing to me, thought that I'd share it with you guys.

very nice, but i've got a question.
I don't understand polish so I would like to know why there's the enigma machine inside the movie?
I red long times ago some books dedicated to the enigma machine and, if I remeber well, during the '30 the Polish secret service try to decifrate the enigma machina (as well they proceed in this work in england during the WWII)
If I don't mind polish secr.serv studied a prototype called Bomb, that was based on the germany enigma called Squalo (shark).
Is this movie based on this story?

It was basically a polish mathematician called Rejevski and 2 others who "solved" the first military types of the enigma machine.
What they did with 3 persons the british weren't able to do with several hundred, after the german attack on poland they fled to Britain where the later versions of the enigma where "solved" based on what Rejevski did 10 years before that.
In one sentence: he was brilliant.

yes I know the evolution of Enigma.
But is that movie based on that story?
this is what I'm talking about.

No, the movie does not have any kind of story, it's just an animation showing part of the pre-war Warsaw :).
