Yep, and also a little bit "who has the most extensive diaspora". Why else would Turkey rank that high every time? Always good points from countries like Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

indeed the neighbours vote for X but if u take it like that each country has neighbours so is the same shit for each...indeed..some countries has more neighbors but if is like that that means every year the standings should like the same...but is not

and anyway the votes come from people of Y that live in X

i'm romanian..that doesn;t mean that i will vote for bulgaria,ukraine, serbia or hungary.
hungarian people that live in Romania will vote for Hungary and so on

Would be interesting to see stats of how many points countries has given to their neighbours.
I had a look at my country - Sweden - and apparently we've given most points to Ireland and in the top five there's only two neighbouring countries.
However, we've been given most points by Norway and in the top five, there's four of our neighbours.

Belgium has given most to: 1) UK, 2) Germany, 3) Ireland, 4) Spain and 5) France.
Belgium has received most from: 1) Netherlands, 2) France, 3) Spain, 4) UK and 5) Portugal.

Bold = neighbor

I don't know exactly but as usual in May

Semifinals: 14 & 16 May
Finals: 18 May

At first I didn't quite like the song, but felt drawn in by her voice. By the end I started liking the song as well.
Not sure if it can win, but I'll enjoy hearing it anyway.
