Subject: GeoGuessr

Four out of the five pictures I got where of roads in the middle of nowhere. All I had to go on was whether it was dry there or not and then guess.
Twice the answer was somewhere in Australia and I was way, way, way off.

Closed before I looked at my score, but it was probably not even close to 1000.

btw. to be honest I don't like that one can 'move'...if you move a lot then obviously you will find lots of clues which will help determine the place...:)

could be one of the moorish buildings, like the alhambra in Spain

well, the possibility to move makes it more interesting imo. you start looking for clues from the streets. and there aren´t too many of those in most cases actually.

no possibility to move makes it sort of lottery. making guesses mainly only based on what the trees look like in the picture.

like the pic on the last page. u cant move around there. you are inside of the building and all walls look the same. could be anywhere from Morocco to fuking afganistan

You need some luck to have clues and then determine what these clues mean.
I mean it is a game, but a fun one :)

yea well.. I´m kinda dissappointed I didn´t klicked anyewhere to see where that place is.. a wild bsod appeared..

Score could have been better. 2 times I was right in the first place and only few miles away from the right point (A and C), but then I changed it to a more strategic point. Stupid :P

I had 16k after 4 rounds and then got a weird place with terrible pictures...I even found a sign, but it was unreadable

it looked 'poor' and hot, so I went with Africe, it turned out to be NZ - 22pts :p

I had the same but in the US. Fortunatly after a long search I found some patriot with his flag outside so I wasn't that far off :P

wow, how did you come so close every time? were there signs on every photo?

I made a guess with Cape Town...The easiest one was the one in Spain, I saw flags that looked Catalan and clicked Barcelona, but it was the Island near Barcelona ;p

the Paulo Alfonso one had a sign...the one in New Orleans had a fishing trip service and I googled where it can be ;p

the one in Finland was 'easy' because I saw it once before, there's a huuuuuge bridge joining the parts of land and I knew that there are such in Finland...so I clicked and got a lucky shot:))

A little bit better as the first time, but not near your points. I had a good start, 2 miles of in Seoul which gave me over 6000 points, but then I made a mistake in France and even a bigger mistake in Canada :/ And D was somekind of geological excavation in israel with just a small space to walk around, was a lucky 'guess' :P

Btw, I didn't used Google. If I had done that 3 of 5 instead of 1 of 5 would have been within a few miles (less then 5 miles) ;)
