nah, I need to start a twitter account [not private] and have no idea how to do it properly.

i just read somewhere that one of the symptoms of being too old for this shit is the inability to use social networks.

There are probably many articles and guides out there on how to use Twitter for a company. What kind of twitter account do you have to run? For what kind of company/organization is it?

to start twitter account? you can register with your email or any email you want.
but what i do not like from twitter is, i only can maximum write 160 character for every one tweet.
i more like to use facebook or whatsapp.
