I used them because it was what I had. But Woods and Webster, if I had them, will better the NZ defence.

New Zealand

* 1. K. Taylor
* 2. G. Stanton (a ghost, Woods fix here)
* 3. D. Vettori
* 4. S. Urlovic
* 5. S. Williams
* 6. D. Findlay
* 7. W. Souter
* (70' B. Kingi)
* 8. M. Kelly (too old and bad form, Findlay here and Webster on sideback)
* 9. K. Brunton
* 10. T. Stanton
* 11. J. Filer
* (70' J. Priorie)
* 12. D. Oorschot
* 13. D. Dawkins (about the reserve, form weak on that week)
* 16. L. Souter

Missy luck to attack do a miracle. Thats I talking about. 2-0 its very close for a draw. That might be a pride, because the technical difference of teams. If Brunton and Priorie do the 1-1 chances can be different the match, just that.

you didn't play Dawkins because you're saying his form is too low, even though it's not, so instead you played Kelly who actually has bad form and lower pace+defender. Also all the defenders you played, including Dawkins, have higher pace+defender and better side skills than Woods... I don't know Stanton's skills but considering that his value is 2 times that of Woods I'll assume that he has higher pace and defender too...

Kelly was defender-mid position because he has better secondary skills lik pass, tech, PM etc

Yeah but you said that if Woods played you would have Findlay there, so why not play Dawkins in Findlay's spot and Findlay as def-mid...

One thing is A bad form as a first tackle man, other thing is a last man where can be a powerfull wing of Croatia. Findlay is superdivine defender and Dawnkins just magical.

Clear now?

lol Woods is magical too and you said you would put him where Findlay is now.

My dear,
end any discussions we have are unfounded. Because the team is 99% a subjective issue. I have my opinion and you your opinion.
The issue is that at the end: I expected as coach of NT greater collaboration in order to use the players and the best possible, in my opinion, of course. That's is my job. But I was denied it by a supporter that should be mine: the coach of U21.
Complain of me now its easy.

But think about:

How important is winning their U21 friendly? Very little.

Not to mention that 99% of the selections and 100% of those who are in the top 19,20 years old players used in friendlies to prepare them. Use a friendly player in 21 years with missing two weeks for him to be no more U21's at least amateurism.

So do not try to defend the discourteous attitude of the Wild.

I wasn't saying that you shouldn't use the best players possible, I was saying that the two U21 players aren't the best possible...
Also your match with Croatia wasn't much more important than a U21 friendly because you have no chance to qualify, while the U21 team needs ranking points to have a better position in qualifiers next season.
Lastly, I don't know what you asked Wild, but if you'd asked him if he could cut them after the U21 match on friday for just one game, after which you would cut them and he could call them back to the U21, he probably would have been more willing to help.

This is decision to him, I'm just asked for the players.

Points in friendly is very low than oficial games, and THE PLAYERS ARE ALMOST 22. Cut them to prepare new ones is the minnimum.

Excellent. The latest game in the playoffs New Zealand secured the bronze.

As in the 1st match, the team was better than them. Jacob Priorie was in days of glory. He score 3 times and play almost perfectly. Kevin Brunton is still good at dribbling, but losing unbelievable goals. He again lost a penalty. Before Morcombe plays I put Priorie as kicker because I already has noted that him do not make goals. This makes us think about the famous hidden talent. At least he got the penaltys...

I do not imagine that Kevin will be so bad in strikes and Priorie so well. If I don't substitute Priorie, the game would be very much easy going.

About the end of my work:

I just did what already normal. The third place.

I made good tatics and results including losses, but the team owed. In this last match with "very very" injuried players I deserve praise. However, especially against Israel I did not get the desired results despite having many work to the adversaries.

Thanks for the opportunity.

PS.: If any wish "do an internship" just send a sk-mail and I leave be the coach of NZ for one match.
