I have not had any decent ones for a while now either....
yeah, i just prey each week for a junior of at least a weak level.
Morgan Wareing 16 good outfield 32 ... all depends on talent now :-|
...and whether he's really good, adequate or just average! :(
i'm working on the assumption the first level is correct... maybe
Probably a stupid question, but if a youth plays 1 minute of a match, does he still get the same benefit in terms of the coach assessing his ability?
I probably could have phrased that more clearly, but I'm basically wondering if I should be playing 15 players each game..

Don't worry I am thinking the same here......I have a bad week for assessing again due to the walkover I believe.

no... but maybe 14 would be good

Fat fingers post Christmas...
Or beer-addled brain.
Or general stupidity.

14, 15, 16 players... I don't think it'll make any difference.
I have a junior due out next week. He would have been a definite Brilliant+0 under the old system, as he'd already popped 3,4,4,3,4,4, to Outstanding with 7 weeks remaining.
Having watched him in all 3 junior matches, my Magical JC now thinks he is Outstanding+6 with 1 week left. He hasn't popped whatsoever, nada, nothing...
Two things are a trifle irritating here:
1. I thought the coach's appraisal was meant to improve with more matches watched.
How bloody many does he need?
2. I don't mind (too much) with this guy, as I know his true talent. But if one of my new juniors hadn't popped in 6 weeks, I'd be giving him the elbow to make room for new recruits.
This is going to make talent assessment a complete lottery with only 30 spaces.
Feeling ever so slightly better now that I've got that off my chest, but overall still very cynical about the merits of this part of the new Juniors feature.

Christie Freke, age: 19
club: Bossanove, country: England
value: 31 950 £, wage: 525 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline
height: 181 cm
poor stamina tragic keeper
average pace solid defender
good technique average playmaker
tragic passing hopeless striker
Well, he was a 4.5 week popper but god knows what that graph shows. My heart rate whilst sledging on my mental ironing board sledge today I think ...

I believe he will have popped today(yesterday SK time).
I'm not sure on this but I believe that the skill when they've finished in the junior school is correct.

I disagree
I should of had a formidable and outsatanding junior today under the old system.
Instead I got very good and excellent, they were both fired lol

but surely the assessment does not effect the final skill levels, so they would have been fired under the old system too
