Subject: US team names
I never liked zork. Made you think too much. And it was 50% a syntax challenge.
My team name comes from my favorite character from the Japanese cult film, Battle Royale.

Havoc FC comes from the local minor league hockey team (Huntsville Havoc).
Yes, Alabama has hockey, too!! :) And actually, the Havoc are about the only minor-league success story here in Huntsville - every other minor league team is either gone (NBDL) or is struggling mightily (AFL2, AA baseball). But hockey seems to have a real following here. It doesn't hurt that the college (UAH) has a top Division II hockey team as well.

That's funny, I was just telling my girlfriend the other day that Alabama-Huntsville is one of the top D-II hockey programs in the country. My team is Cleveland Heights FC, because I live in Cleveland Heights (Ohio) and have no imagination.

My team is Saia's Strikers. When I first got an HT team 3 years ago, my brother's team was Meno's Marauders, and Meno was his cat at the time. So Saia's Strikers... Saia is my dog. Saia was also an Indian girl that I dated in high school. I've also got a cat that's named Wilde because another ex girlfriend used to call herself Felicia Wilde when she was drunk dialing.
