Subject: wild west

Do you know online games, in which the challenge is to get by in the wild west, deal with Indians, arrows, horses...

On the other hand, is somebody here from the former "wild west"? I'm keen on Indian novels of J. F. Cooper and Karl May, and I'd like to know what's up in this region today...

James Fennimore Cooper did NOT write about 'the wild west' ... he wrote about life in the Mohawk River Valley .. part of upstate NEW YORK. Hardly in the West!

Not aware of any online games dealing with that part of history .. but you might like to read the works of Louis L'Amour ... who wrote MANY novels about life in the so-called 'Wild West'. My favorite is 'Hondo'..... a nickname that I acquired from my best friend over 40 years ago.

You are right, I've read Cooper novels and it's really not the wild west, I was wrong... But novels on Indians are what I really like...

I don't know Louis L'Amour but I'm going to read his novels, when I have time.

anyone remember the oldschool oregon trail game? where ud go hunting for food, only be able to bring 400lb of meat or something but youd still shoot 1000's worth of buffalo. and then your buddies would die from random things like herpes and dyslexia haha

Btw i hope no one actually died of dyslexia, that's not normally fatal lol.

Oh yes, in Texas there were feast of adventures, shots, colts, as we can see in films as well... And what's the matter today, are there still roaming trappers and cowboys?:))))

When Bush visited Budapest, everything was chaotic, roads locked, traffic jam... I almost missed the world cup match Netherland-Argentina. I would've missed nothing valuable :) but although I don't like him...
