Subject: Hawaiian Team in MLS

Why don't they have a team from Hawaii or Alaska in the MLS?

Well if Miami and it's large south american population could not support a team, I fail to see how non-soccer states like those could be profitable.

The MLS has no interested in putting a team in Hawaii or Alaska the only places they are interested in putting teams right now is Philadelphia,New York,Milwauke,Detroit, San Jose, and possibley Miami again

Well they never really had a team in Miami. It played in Fort Lauderdale, and that may have been part of the problem.

well most teams dont play right in there city New York Red Bulls play in New Jersey, Chicago Fire play Bridgeview, LA Galaxy and Chivas USA play in Carson but, yes ti would of helped if they had played in the Orange Bowl or even Dolphins Stadium................ The Fusion had a good team with Serna,Henderson,Llamosa, Rimando,Preki, etc.

I posted a really grumpy forum in England about them having 4 seperate teams instead of 1 Great Britain. I argued that Hawaii and Alaska aren't allowed to qualify as seperate country's so why should they?!

So what, Hawaii and Alaska just don't play soccer is that all?

dude, they surf in hawaii, and play hockey in alaska. Half the state's probably either forest, under a thick layer of permafrost - or both.

LMAO. I don't actually know the numbers, but I was afraid if I said like 90% the one user from alaska would take me to task :)
