Holy smokes...literally...just got back from my favorite watering hole watching the fires and the Santa Ana conspire to make some huge conflagrations out there,really effing scary!!!
To all the sokker SoCal brethren:keep your heads down and your roof wet and best of luck!

How bad is the situation there?

Last I heard,3 people dead ...600,000 acres burned .....over 1000 homes destroyed......300,000 people evacuated from their homes.Thankfully the winds have died down,but it still is a dicey situation.
