Subject: [NT] Overview of Season

Tbh, in the end the season couldn't have gone much better :-)

Ok, we've had some real highs and some real lows but ultimately we ended up qualifying for the WC and have improved our World ranking as well, so all good!!! The world ranking has gone from 41 to 37 (which doesn't seem like much), but we are now just 21 pts behind 32nd place ;-) Getting into the top 32 is important as it would really help for future WC qualifying campaigns. However, we have 2 really hard friendlies up next as we need to prepare for the WC, these might mean we end dropping a few ranking points depending how they go.

Along the way, we have beaten 6 teams ranked higher than us which has helped our ranking points no end.

Fingers crossed we get a kind WC draw, but whichever group we get will be extremely difficult. But, that's almost when our players perform to their best, like when we were down to 9 men against Bosnia and still (somehow!?!) held out for 1-0 win :-)
